NCAA March Madness Thread

When they announced the contest, I knew it would be nothing but free publicity - and the media willingly complied. Every human being could enter 10 times, and the chances someone wins are infinitesimal.

Wichita State was the biggest joke #1 ever. I've been saying all season they are a 5-loss team if they play in a real conference but it seems I was mistaken. They are a 7-loss team if they play in a real conference.

They had to be #1 or the NCAA Ranking System would be highly questioned. As bad as they may be, it is always impressive to be 34-0. But I agree, put them in the ACC and they lose 5-8 games a year.

Maybe. But being 35-0 is one hell of an accomplishment and something no one saw coming. Each game they had a target directly on them coming off a Final 4 appearance. Each game the undefeated streak continued and the next team played their toughest game of the year because they wanted to be the ones to knock them from the undefeated and make a name for themselves. They were the hunted and snuck up on no one. Now they are in the record books and very well may be for a long long time. 35-0 is one hell of an accomlishment.

wisconsin, florida, and arizona all won so my bracket is still decent.

Louisville finally busted my bracket.
I still have 3 of my final 4 left, but the damage is done

How does #7 Uconn get second weekend games in NY (and Buffalo the first weekend) and #8 Kentucky plays in Indy (and St. Louis before that) yet a #2 seed like Wisconsin ends up in California?

i like the way wisconsin plays sound, fundamental basketball.

gene hackman coached from the movie hoosiers like basketball.

they are going to play in the national championship game.

As a Hoosiers fan I respect their coach Ryan but man he looks like an *******. Like Jon Voight ******* in Varsity Blues. Could be the nicest guy in the world, I'm just talking facial expression on the sideline.

i agree...but i like his coaching

it's great to watch a team play like a team.

the way they pass that ball around is fun to watch..

they also make adjustments during the game as to what the opponent is doing.

Been a thorn in my Hoosiers side for years now but glad to see him have some success in the tourney. Hope the win it all. I was rooting hard for 3 B10 teams to make the Final Four. NCAA probably wasn't, not sure it would have been good for ratings.

Amazingly great games on Sunday, 3/30.

These kids are awesome, and clutch.

this is by far the best march madness i've ever seen..

been watching since the early 80's when patrick and hakeem went at it.

Wisconsin is quite possibly one of the biggest frauds to ever make a Final Four appearance in history, in my opinion.

They have had better teams in previous years. This year's team is not good. Terrible shooting percentage, terrible rebounding numbers, bad defense. They are lucky they beat Arizona, who also succumbed to some questionable coaching decisions and piss poor shooting as well.

UConn is playing almost all on heart now - really impressive, and Shabazz Napier is an awesome player.

Kentucky has started to gel at the right time...they could be the champion this year and it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Florida is just a good team. They look like an NBA team when they play. Scottie Wilbekin is a beast, and their defense is incredible. Their undoing will be lack of offense from anyone not named Wilbekin if they lose.

UConn now has 2 post season wins in AT&T stadium, .. Cowboys have one.
