Anyone else impressed with the Huskers so far? Are they the best big 12 team right now?

Main reason Neb is starting to get noticed is not because of who they have played but how they have played. OU has come close to blowing games vs bad teams last one being Air Force the same could be said about the Gators play. Neb is looking sharp on offense and defense so of course people are going to start paying attention to them.

Also it will be interesting to see who steps up on the road outside of Murray and Broyles.

If I had to say who is the best of the 3, as of September 24, I would say Nebraska is a little ahead of both Texas and OU but I will also say the Texas defense is better than any offensive or defensive unit between all 3 teams.

I agree. At this stage the Cornhuskers have looked very good in all phases of the game. As a Texas fan I will say I'm glad we have Neb on the schedule, it will be a big test for the Horns and many of the young players on this team.

Air Force is a good team in the sense they are well coached but they don't even have as much talent as OU's 2nd string players.

OU was able to out-athlete Air Force in the end but it just shows what good coaching can do even with below average athletes.

Thats why a team like Boise State can beat anyone if they make it to the National Title game.

Yeah Texas did not look very good vs Rice either. They have alot of work ahead of them if they hope to be a BCS contender this year. I have no problem dealing with reality evidently the OU fans or should I call them North Texas since they rely on the state of Texas for their ball club can't deal with the fact that OU looks like crap:laugh2:

Being a Texas fan of course I'm pulling for Texas no matter if the Horns have a loss before that game or not but it should be a good matchup and a big game for both teams.

They are a team who can't match up athletic wise they are very small players on that team and do not get the quality players like big time program such as OU can get and the simple fact is OU looked poor vs them. If you can't deal with that then good for us not a surpise for an OU fan.

They run a pretty good scheme that can and has given better opponents trouble before. It doesn't excuse the Sooner's play but hopefully they will learn from it and execute better in the future.
