I think Texas will handle the Huskers. So do most of my Husker fans here at work.

They are good though. Im glad to see Bo doing Nebraska right. It's about time that program got turned around.

They were always my favorite team growing up but the day the hired Bill Callahan I lost all interest.

The thing that made Nebraska special was their tough defense and their Power option attack.

The Canes beat the breaks off of them in the National title game and they decided they can't win with that style of football anymore.

IMO I disagree. I think you can still win with that style of football but I do feel like there needs to be more of a passing game involved with it too.

This Taylor Martinez guy is fun to watch and has some serious foot speed.

Longtime fan here... And yes, Callahan was the worst hire ever. Unbelievably bad. Amazing that they let that idiot GM wreck the program for years.

And T-Magic is the man. That 70-yard run he had last week was awesome. Almost like Crouch, but Martinez was just gliding like a 200m runner.

Main reason Neb is starting to get noticed is not because of who they have played but how they have played. OU has come close to blowing games vs bad teams last one being Air Force the same could be said about the Gators play. Neb is looking sharp on offense and defense so of course people are going to start paying attention to them.

We almost lost to another bad team again but at least We Won..

Nah I'm a Husker fan. I just don't get too much into the college stuff cause there just isn't much I care about college wise. I like my Huskers and I keep up with whats going on in the Big 12 and SEC but that's about it.

I do agree with your old post up there that they've been pretty much a non-factor for a decade now. There is no denying that but I'm certainly glad to see that they've been getting the team turned around the last two years.

I wasn't sure if I'd like the hiring of Bo at first but I'm 110% sold since early last season that he is the right man for the job. So glad they hired him. It's the most excited ive been about a coach there since Tom.
