This may be the worst coached OU team ever. And that includes the Blake/Schnelly era because they at least had the excuse of having very little talent. This team makes those type of mistakes and it is probably going to have the most NFL talent an OU team has ever had.

There will be a qb competition next spring.

OU's problems aren't just Landry. It's not a great idea to run the no huddle like last year when you lost pretty much everyone from last year. The Sooner O line is young and it's hard for a young line to come together when running the hurry up.

We only have one playmaker at wide receiver and it's Broyles. No other receiver of ours can create separation, and when they do, they drop the ball. Landry has thrown some bad passes as well. He has made stupid, rookie decisions.

I attended the spring game and was more impressed with Drew Allen who might just beat Landry out next spring. I am hearing a lot of word on this young kid named Blake Bell as well. He's supposed to be a pretty big deal according to some recruiting experts. I don't jump on that type of wagon until I at least see work out with D1 talent.

This is a bad year but I don't think we're gonna be as bad as some think next season. I think Landry gives us a good shot if he can learn from this season and carry over his learning experiences to next. If he gets beat out by Allen, or dare I say Bell, then that's scary because we'll have a qb with absolutely no Sooner experience on the field again.

I agree with Catch on one main thing, Jones is the front runner for the job since he has basically this whole season under his belt. The job is his to lose, but don't expect him to cakewalk through the spring just like Texas has cakewalked all the way through this oh-so weak Big XII conference.

I look for this conference to be way more competitive next season.

That is the sweetest victory for my Huskers in a few years. I was so proud.

In Lincoln against the Sooners. Regardless of the rankings for each team, that was just a straight up rivalry of respect and championship tradition.

Congratulations on a great win and I look forward to seeing your Huskers dominate the North starting next season.

I find it completely stupid that these two do not play every single year. This was one of the biggest national rivalries for like half a century. Just cause they are in different divisions within the Big 12, doesn't mean they can't play every year.

Add two more players to OU's season ending injury list. Brody Eldridge and Auston English. Eldridge has an AC sprain and English has a ruptured tendon in his ankle.

I'm hoping that happens. We seem to be finally turning it around.

And the Sooners are their QB away from being a real National Title contender this year. If you'd had Bradford all year, with that defense, you guys would have been darn scary.

Some solid QB play next year, if your defense continues to play like it is, will take you a long way.

Yeah I think we'll be fine next season. We'll be back in contention for the conference for sure.

I hear Nebraska picked up 3 quick verbals or something right after their win last weekend in Lincoln.

Looking forward to many battles in the Big XII championship between two of the greatest football traditions this sport has to offer.

I think Landry played better than Bradford did this year.
