But failed to come up "big" twice when it really mattered.

He also dropped another TD against KC.

I don't see where all this Hurd love is coming from. So he can score td's when linebackers cover him...Big deal. Make plays when a db is covering you.

That was a DB on him in that Bronco's game.

Its coming from the same guy who thought Miles Austin would come up big if ever given an opportunity.

I understand its hard to get Hurd on the field but he is more talented than people think imo.

Hes a very good route runner and can make the acrobatic play. He goes a 100 mph every play too.

He just needs a chance.

Yeah unfortunately. If it was a LB, we probably send that game into OT.

I assume you're talkin about the long catch he had... That was just a good job by Romo of extending the play. Even a guy like Hurd can get open if you give him enough time.

Miles Austin scores on that play and sends it into OT... Hurd was too slow.

Olgetree is better than Roy now.

ROFL.

At some point zero, you're gonna have to come off Olgetree and come up for air. I think.

Look at like this. If Roy wasn't playing like garbage, NOBODY would have it in their mind that some rookie UDFA should be playing over him.

I just loathe Roy Williams at this point. I don't want Kevin Ogletree (or Crayton or Sam Hurd or Ken Yon Rambo or Reggie Swinton) out there, but I'm getting there. I hate seeing Romo try to force the ball to him.

He clearly has no gag reflex.

Romo is just as much to blame for Roys struggles too.

2 weeks in a row he keeps 1 hopping passes to him.

He got a TD today so lets cut him a little slack on his performance.

God, I'm so glad our team isn't run by Cowboyszone.com.
Ogletree is faster and quicker than Roy and Roy is not being productive. That can't be denied.

A lot of people thought Miles would come up big if ever given the opportunity.... because he's shown glimpses of playmaking ability and he possesses an amazing skillset.

Miles has the size/speed to be a dominant WR.

What does Hurd have?

He doesn't have blazing speed. He's not the biggest WR. He doesn't get open.

He hustles, he's a good blocker, and a good special teamer. He's doin good as a #4 WR, but don't kid yourself into thinking he's more than that.

I wouldn't argue that. Romo has been off at times, but there's pretty much one constant. Roy Williams and Romo being an awful combination. Everybody else has made plays at some point.

OMG you are soooo right. What were we thinking. I mean I don't think we could have won the last three games Roy was in without him. 35, 16, and 19 yards: few receivers in the NFL could put up those kind of stats. We would hurt big time if we tried putting Ogletree in. [/sarcasm]

if we never gave up the entire draft for this guy nobody would even be disputing this...

not to mention the complete waste of plays where the ball is thrown 50 feet from his position 3-4 times a game. we're winning in spite ot roy williams, fellows...
