Since when are skill position players judge by wins? NEVER. Please tell me when dope.

If this thread could be captured in a picture, you'd be the one lying on the ground down and out.

Who cares what they're judged by. What matters is EVERY position contributes to whether a team wins or loses. You should work for ESPN.

The point of the thread was to show that while Garret was in charge, the offense was clearly more balanced! And the point was, if Romo had a more balanced offenses, how many more "wins" would "we" have had? Again, for those people with agenda's to say that Romo is not a franchise QB, (Kitna is just as good, the offense didn't drop off that much, etc.) had to admit that since Garret gained control, he was calling the offense quite a bit different.

Of course wins are the most important thing, but because they were more balanced, we could keep that stinky defense off the field longer. Also, the defense was actually getting TO's when Garret assumed the position as head coach....

Ok. I stopped being lazy.

With Romo:
Avg run per game: 24
Avg pass per game: 41

With Kitna:
Avg run per game: 30
Avg pass per game: 33

Romo stats:
11 td's, 7 Int's, 1605 yards, 94.9% passer rating.

Kitna stats:
16 td's, 12 Int's, 2365 yards, 88.9% passer rating.

I guess Kitna is the better QB. :lmao2:

IMO, the interesting stat here is run / pass differential between Romo and Kitna. How much is attributable to differences in game plan, and how much to kill, kill, kill?

One other factor is the type of offense ran under Kitna was different than that under Romo. For Kitna, I believe I heard they took some of the playbook out and simplified the offense somewhat. Perhaps the players responded better to a simpler playbook. If so, the Cowboys may have stumbled on to something for next year. Maybe the players overall respond better to a simpler playbook.

One of the thinks I noticed is that Kitna doesn't seem to wait until the last second to call for the snap. Romo always seemed to be calling for the snap at the last second a lot IIRC.

One thing that I've noticed is that Kitna doesn't seem to need to tell everyone where to lineup. Romo seemed to have to do this constantly because someone was lining up in the wrong position.

Romo, Kitna
Comp%: 69.5 (league leader), 65.7
Int%: 3.3, 3.8
YPA: 7.5, 7.1
Sack%: 3.2, 6.2
