Why must they run 50 yards to an endzone to celebrate? It's not like they scored, they get a turnover yes which is great but why can't you just celebrate where it happened? No need to run somewhere else for 10 seconds to look like an idiot. Sad thing is it happened one time and now they all follow it cause thats what they are followers. Does anybody have any originality anymore? I just think it's dumb and annoying.

Don't have a problem with that. The game gets offense friendly more and more so let the D guys have some fun too. An interception is a big thing even if you don't get the pick six. Especially when it's a huge momentum changer a little partying doesn't hurt. So chill and just take another bite off that hamburger in front of you while they're celebrating. ;)

Just like how sensitive the taunting penalty has become yet 11 guys can run across the field and celebrate in front of a camera for a minute and it's perfectly fine.

I don't care if players do celebrate, just find it silly how it's a 15 yard penalty for mean words or if a player stares menacingly at the other sideline. lol

There's time for that but they dont want take the time to get plays called correctly.

I'm not a fan of celebrating period. I like the "act like you've been there before" mantra. That said, there are a few that I enjoy... Dez' X, a quick spike, the goal post slam dunk, Lambeau Leap (even though I hate GB)...it's really all the dancing and over the top antics that I don't care for.

The new trend of defenses running the length of the field to do a group rehearsed celebration is annoying to no end. I'm 39 though so I suppose I am an older generation that missess 90s smash mouth football... you know, when a catch was a catch.

What's crazy is all as this is a derivative of Mike Irvin going Ham every time he got a first down.

Interceptions and turnovers aren't regular occurrences, players should celebrate. It's what makes the game fun for THEM.

Do you not celebrate when a turnover occurs? Do you not clap your hands? Jump up and down? Scream with joy?

So if you do any of those things from the stands, at a bar, or from the comfort of your home, why can't they do what feels good to them?
