Needed Win - Still concerned about both lines

Seems like ages ago I felt content on a sunday after Cowboys win. As I watch this team I still have doubts in few areas:

1. OL - was it me or was Miami DL in cowboys backfield half the game. Vernon DE for Miami was ridiculous. Tyron Smith had no answer for him for stretches of this game. McFadden yardage total is bit misleading because it felt like at times that Miami DL was taking over that game. I still don't think Dallas has playoff caliber running game. Its become clear to me that Murray was absolute perfect fit for this line. I would look for similar back in draft.

2. DL - Greg Hardy looks more and more average to me. Tyron Crawford is getting doubled and Hayden can't beat 1 on 1. We finally saw a burst from Lawrence at end of game and I will watch closely against Panthers to see if maybe it was just confidence issue and we start seeing that guy who played in Packers game last year. Jack Crawford might have had best day for DL.

I thought LB had solid game and its amazing how Street and Williams look like NFL WRs with Romo.

This OL is too good to be wasted with this coaching .. a new OL coach is needed ..and while at it ...get a REAL DL coach too please

Glad they won. They need to play a ton better to have a chance on tday.

OL is not playing well.whats up with Tyron getting beat by scrubs?

Our oline got obliterated but our running backs still put up 166 yards. And yet we don't have a playoff caliber running game? Gotcha.

Win was great, but agree, things are still off. Or do we just expect perfection every play.
I am underwhelmed with the OL and DL though.

Second sack was on Romo, held the ball too long.

The reason why they were in the backfield was the playcalling. The Dolphins were cheating towards Tyron and the blockers, like Fred, Martin or Free, couldn't reach them because they were not in position to do so. But, we kept running that stupid play.

The pass protection was fine outside of Free who got beat by speed rushes. The only thing that concerns me about the O-Line is Tyron got beat again with poor hand placement.

Did you guys forget that this oline on pass blocking is not their strength, the same thing happened last year in so many games. Nothing has changed this year not sure why all of you are surprised.

Callahan's zone blocking scheme was a big reason for the success on the ground in recent years.

Pollack is using much the same scheme. Problem is, it takes a chemistry between the OL and the RB's to make it work consistently, and you need a RB who runs well in that scheme. DMC doesn't. He's much better with man blocking schemes.

The OL was not great at pass blocking last year....often forgotten fact. Romo made them look better than they were and are.
