Really young players tend to improve. Older players tend to decline or get injured more.

Age graph varies for different position.

And we have many more younger players than older, and younger to counteract those aging players such as Witten.
I was going to post that the downside players would be the older ones such as Witten and even Lee. But they are so good and experienced I decided not to call it a downside at this point.

I knew someone would post something like you did. And was waiting to see what it was to respond just as I did.
