Nervous about the Giants?

If we lose, the homers will recycle the same excuses they used after the Green Bay game: "They were desperate! They still have talent on both sides of the ball! It's hard to win in that stadium! This loss means nothing!" And so on.

Well, keep your finger crossed so you can see it come to fruition....

No need. I've already seen it time and again.

Well, hopefully for your sake, Dallas loses and you can be happy.

Hopefully for the rest of us, you ended up very disappointed the following Sunday....

And in the event that that happens, maybe you can save the spin for a change, but I'm not hopeful. In the meantime, please continue impugning the motives of fellow fans.

Classic projection. Freud would have a field day with you.

do you think we're gonna lose?

Beats me. I just find it odd that some people are already working on their post-game spin 12 days before kickoff.

I'm always optimistic and a little nervous on every game. It doesn't matter who we play really. Good teams...bad teams...and in between teams, because the reality is that good teams can have bad games as well as bad teams can have good games....The freaking Rams almost beat the Saints for cripes sake..LOL
So I think we are a good team and I hope we execute well and minimize mistakes and penalties. If we can do that , then I think we have a good chance to beat any team....including the Saints.

Go Cowboys!!!!

I am always nervous before a game. It doesnt matter if the team we play is 9-0 or 0-9, any given Sunday..........

We are capable of beating any team in the league and we are capable of losing to any team in the league. There is no guaranteed victories in the NFL, both teams get checks.

Add to this that we are playing in New York (always a hard place to get a win, even for the tripletts back in the day), the officiating always goes in favor of the G-men (I cant remember a game against them where we got any calls at all, even at home we usually get screwed when we play them), and it is now December (we have not had a winning December since 1996).

So yes, I am very nervous that we are going to either get raped by the officials or lay an egg.

You know, the old standby excuses: the other team had talent and is hard to beat at home. Stupid homers, acknowledging that other teams are good, too.

All division games are tough (see Commanders).

If Dallas can pull this off, I think the season's over for the Giants. The Eagles won't let em off the hook if we can send them staggering. There's no better scenario for the Eagles than being put in the position of bully.

that will be interesting, that's for sure.

Anyone feeling nervous about getting a win in NY? They talk a lot of junk and seem to step it up when their backs are against the walls. Not as well as the Eagles do but they still find a way to step it up.

I know they are banged up but I do not like they are extra motivated to play the Boys to get their season on track. Funny how teams across the NFL use Dallas as a measuring stick when they supposedly suck.

If we get the win in NY, then I really think it sets up for a good month. There is a good chance the remaining fight in them bottoms out and their season tanks and they finish .500 or worse.

It's a road game against a good team, a division rival, you have to be nervous. I would have been more confident of the Giants ability to turn it on before the Bronco game. They may have lost 5 of 6 but they havent looked nearly as inept before this game. There has got to be a handful of players on that team who inwardly feel hopeless for the season. All you need is a few to seriously affect the team.

I just visited the gints message board and I have to say they're not a very confident bunch.

Looks like the rats are leaving.

I hate the GStrings. p!ss on them, p!ss on their fans, and F Brandon Jacobs. i hope he gets hurt. actually i dont hope he gets hurt because he sucks and him in the game is good for us.

same as the Packer game, they played like it was their last game..this game vs us next week is the Giants SB, if they lose they are out of the postseason ...and they know it!!

Key to the game.....stop Steve Smith. If we do that...we will win.
