I wonder if it will be the NFL game of the week. I think it should be, I was dying watching it.

What's a shame is CBS didn't even broadcast their game in HD.
First ABC didn't broadcast Ohio St/Texas in HD, now CBS.

^^^ agreed. It's regional coverage though, if you live around Detroit or GB, they'll play that game. Out here, in the bay area, it's always 49ers, regardless of how good the other games sound

NO vs Carolina was a good game as well. Given the recent events in the Saints hometown, I think the NO vs. Carolins game will get the sentimental vote for game of the week.

Even though I have DirecTV, I had to miss the first 5 minutes of the game for the finish of NO/Car.

They have a rule where you can't watch it on DTV if it is carried locally. (thanks a lot all you jerks who voted to show it locally! ;) )

I had the same problem. I understood why they wanted to switch over to the end of the game, and I am really sorry and sympathetic to the people of LA, Miss, and Bama, but I don't give a rats about watching the Saints play.

I understand the regional splits but it made no sense for the Packer-Lion game to be on in the Pacific Northwest. I have Sunday Ticket so it made no difference but still, our game was more of a western game than the Packer one.

I think since we had Aikman and Buck that makes us the headliner, atleast of the Sunday day games. So in areas where their local team played at noon they would most likely get us at 3 but I guess not.

I also don't get how the CBS/FOX AFC/NFC is decided, you would think since it was an AFC home game we would have ended up on CBS, I guess if its a game with both conferences they toss it up to either. Actually I guess its either way because when we play AFC on Thanksgiving its always CBS and still our home game.

You'll know when we aren't a featured game when we end up with Brian Balldinger etc.
