Lucky you’re not near old enough to remember the 88 and 89 season. The Cowboys won only 4 games in two seasons. You fans who come claiming you don’t care anymore about how the team is playing are just lying to yourselves or you wouldn’t be posting about the team.

Wow, hasn't Jerry paid enough of a price for that comment? Sell the team! The rest of us are tired of watching the dues for that comment above, collected during the first round of the playoffs. Dallas likely won't even get there this year.

I get the same impression on the board from other posters. We don’t live and die as Cowboys fans anymore. To me I lost interest every year since the Dez catch game ripped my heart out. Jerry refuses gamble at making our team better like all the other teams in the league so I kinda have moved on to other things myself. I work Sundays now or do none football activities. For most of my life in the Fall through mid winter, I was in front of my television watching Cowboys football. Not now.

I have never been more apathetic. I will watch every game. But I don’t get excited at all. Winning doesn’t make me happy really and losing doesn’t surprise me at all

There’s times I have a glint of optimism and think “hey maybe they could make the playoffs if enough things start going right and guys get healthy”.

But I have absolutely zero reason to believe they can actually meaningfully compete for a championship so it’s like meh.

The only thing I really care about right now is watching to hope young talent develops.

I have been this way since the playoff game last season. They showed no fight or energy and this was after everything needing to go right, did to get that 2 seed. As lackluster of a playoff effort I have seen from Dallas. And we did zero in the offseason and actually, got worse. I turned that game off at halftime. I turned Baltimore and Detroit games off at halftime. Just don't really care. Wins or losses don't sway me anymore. I am now 40 and it's been since I was in grade school I have seen this team past the divisional round. All because of one man and how he chooses to run the team. Screw Jerry.

Its hard, its painful (at least for me) watching my fav team in all sports to be demolished and humiliated. Thats why I haven’t watch a full game this season.

But now, I just watch football and follow (im not rooting) another team that I do consider interesting.

I will always be a Cowboy fan, but im not following nor watching games until Jerry dies.

100% false. This whole "you commented so you care". I enjoy talking sports in general. I am 100% apathetic to this Dallas team. Do I want them to win? Sure. Does it bother me anymore they don't? Not really, it's now expected.

I think the biggest issue is there seems to be no sense of urgency anywhere in the Cowboys organization.

Ownership doesn't seem concerned which means the rest of the front office is not concerned.

The coaches don't seem concerned (what happened to angry Zimmer?). I don't know if that's because McCarthy assumed he was gone when he didn't get a contract extension last season or he simply realizes no one above him cares about winning as much as he assumingly does.

The players don't seem concerned, which is really disappointing as a fan. This is especially true with players who got their money.

Where are the players angrily stating, "We need to fix this now!"? Instead, we get, "It's all good. We will figure it out eventually" types of comments.

It just seems like the only people that care that the Cowboys are playing poorly are some of the Cowboys fans, and even the number of upset fans is declining as more fans are becoming apathetic to the losses.
