Because they have learned how to be “relevant”.

Relevant and winning are 2 entirely different things.

They will never truly win anything important (a Super Bowl), because they literally have no clue whatsoever how to do it.

Think about this.

Random chance will put a team in the superbowl about TWICE every 30 years.

We have had historic perennial loser teams like Arizona, Seattle, New Orleans, Atlanta, Cincinatti, Philadelphia, etc making and/or winning Super Bowls during that time.

Yet our beloved Jone’s teams hasn’t even sniffed a conference championship game during that time.

But you still think that the Jones family has just as good as a chance of anyone at putting together a superbowl winner?

This is the fist time in my life that I actually want the Cowboys to lose every game from here on.

The team needs to be rid of the cancer of the Jones family.

The problem is that Jerry Jones WILL NOT sell the team. He made a $150 MM initial investment back in the late 1980’s that has a current nominal value of $10 B. If you owned a property that performed in this manner, would YOU divest? You’d have to be insane.

I’m aftaid we are stuck with the Jones family. As are our children and probably our children’s-children … and on and on.

Honestly, Jerry Jones has made me become disinterested in my favorite team.

I already know the 49ers are going to destroy us because they have something called scheme and creativity on offense.

McCarthy's idea of a scheme is to have all the Receivers run 7 yard curl routes.

Jerry Jones is losing me as a fan.

When someone asks me now if the Cowboys are playing, I say, "Who cares"

I hear ya. It's been like this for me for the past 2 or 3 seasons now.
It's hard to get excited to watch a team you know will never make it to the super bowl, or the NFC championship game at the least.
I mean how do you go 12-5 for 3 years in a row and not make the NFC championship game once?
Even the divisional round it seems is a lofty goal these days.
Hopefully someday this nightmare ends and the Cowboys will be free of Jerry Jones and all of his bad luck.
