Never forget what Josh McCown did to the Cowboys in 2013

I believe{?} he beat or played us pretty good when he was with Arizona. IDK, this game kinda scares me.

McCown doesn't have the receivers in Cleveland that he had with Chicago in 2013. Where we have to be very careful is, Cleveland's season is pretty much in the toilet so they can throw caution to the wind.

True. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

McCown is not Tom Brady, but he's no slouch, either. I remember that game in 2013 very well. He has better weapons in Cleveland than he had in Chicago.

With all of the emotion and intensity we showed against Philly, I'm worried that we show up on Sunday flat as a pancake.

CLE has the 25th rated offense. McCown was backing up the QB that led them to that. He sucks and they suck. Period.

He does? Didn't they have Marshall, Jefferey, and Forte?

Also, I thought Kessler was starting.

Wasn't that the night it was like 6 degrees in Chicago ?

And Dallas kind of threw in the towel halfway throufh the second quarter?

On the other hand, I can definitely seem them phoning their performances in from here on out. Compared to us (and every other team in the league with playoff chances -- basically everyone except the Browns), the Browns as a team really have nothing to play for (except for pride perhaps).

To know that you're virtually eliminated from playoff contention this early in the season would make it difficult for anyone to give 110% effort for the remainder of the season, no matter how much of a competitor you might be, no matter how much you love the game, etc. Obviously the Browns players will all look the part when they take the field this Sunday, and as professionals they won't fold completely even if they were 0-15 going into week 17. But professionals or not, they're still human and you still gotta think that it will considerably affect them mentally.

I'm not saying that it's a foregone conclusion that the Browns will play uninspired ball the rest of the season, but I think that we have a lot more to play for right now compared to the Browns, and I suspect it will show on the field.

He's actually in the league and playing well right now. Saints I believe but could be wrong, too lazy to look it up but I've seen two games of his this season.

Yep. Had the game saving play last week at the buzzer against Seattle.

I actually really like their weapons. Pryor Barnridge Hawkins Crowell Johnson now Coleman is back. None of them are elite but it's a good group that will challenge a wounded Cowboys defense.

looks better on paper than the eagles offense.

McCown should start , he came back from injury last week and almost beat the jets.

The other thing is cleveland has a very good RB in Crowell, they just dont give him many carries.
He is # 10 and has way less carries than the others in top 10.

I think they will want to end our win streak , so I expect a good game.

The quickest way to get beat is to take an opponent for granted. Cleveland has lost several very close games this season. We have a great season going the last thing we need is to have it derailed by a winless team.
Remember losing to the winless Bills in 1984? Cost us a playoff berth.

McCown can throw with the best of them when he's at his best. I'm not looking upon this game as a gimme by any means. Just to add dutifully to the intrigue, the Cowboys are coming off an emotional big win vs. the Eagles while conversely, the Browns are desperate for a win. Let's hope we're up for a surprising challenge that a desperately focused team can sometimes offer, especially on their own turf. You never know . . .

We will be just as focused if not more. Wins and chemistry do that.
