Starting on the internet last night, to this mornings papers, and all day long on ESPN and the local sports radio shows.............................
I've never heard so many "Not taking anything away from Dallas, but (the refs, Farve hurt, injuries, etc, etc, etc,....)
I've never see such an onslaught of "Yeah, Dallas won, BUT........
I've never hears so much about "Yeah, but they'll NEVER beat the Patriots....."

Everything and anything BUT the usual giving no credit to Dallas. Every excuse under the Sun how it really wasn't "all that" and NOW, ALL OF A SUDDEN LIKE, the game didn't mean that much....

Can you imagine the difference if Green Bay has won the game? ALL the talk today would be about how Green Bay COULD VERY WELL beat New England. How so superior they are to the rest of the NFC. How the NFC is a one-horse show now. All I heard all day about "home field advantage" is how Dallas DOESN'T have it locked up yet. If the Packers had won, that's all you'd hear. That, and the love fest with Farve going to a Super Bowl.

It was like someone died out there today.............all over the media. I know it's beating the same old drum, but it's so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Heard this all season with the Cowboys. Nothing new.

To steal a phrase: Embrace the hate.

Exactly. Who gives a $h!t. Us oldtimers used to love when people hated us. Nowadays, these kids cry like their pacifier was stolen when someone shoots the Cowboys down. Who cares? Sha........eeeez.

Practically after every single Cowboy win it has happened. One reason the Cowboys are playing with a chip on their shoulder, "we dont get no, satisfaction!"

I guess now we know how New England felt after the beat Indy.
No, we don't. After the Cheats beat Indy they were being hailed as the greatest team of all time in some circles. And that is a bunch of BS.

Huh?? I've seen plenty of articles talk about how Dallas has the NFC wrapped up, how they're the front-runners to the Superbowl, how they made a strong showing (Despite the fact that GB took a 17pt defecit and with a backup made it a game in the fourth quarter).

My reccomendation - don't focus on negatives and please keep politics out of your posts (All media, TV/Newspaper/online/Blogs/etc. that shows a slant towards Reps/Dems/Libs/Cons/Region/Team will pull crap).

After the game, I heard alot of "Yeah, but...if Harrison was in there..." Kind of the same thing.

There are plenty of people fawning over Romo, TO, DeMarcus and the Dallas Cowboys today.

Because the rest of the world isn't obligated to love your team like you do.

It was like watching CNN, NBC or MSNBC after a Republican election victory....

you guys are paranoid. Nobody picked the Packers to win and the fact that the Cowboys won validated their predictions. I have not heard ifs, ands or buts. Everybody said before the game and after the game the Cowboys were superior and it was proved on the field. The refs did not affect the outcome of the game unless they were disguised as defensive linemen and DBs for the Packers. Now if only somebody only would start a thread crying that "nobody respects us" the day would be complete.

The Cowboys are 11-1 and that is all that matters.

Word.

We have the inside track to home field... doesn't matter who was on the field, we get the win and now the tie-breaker (if needed).

The excuses come but the record remains.

Dallas O exposed the Packer defense. Be interesting to see if other teams have the same success.

Exactly what I've been thinking... Especially the "They did so well with so many people out. Imagine how they'll do when they get everyone healthy."

(Difference is, we dominated this game all day long. Pats needed two scores in the last three mins or whatever to win.)

But hey, it's a good thing. When the pundits have to look for excuses and dream up ways they could beat us, it means people are considering us dominant like the Pats.

One thing I'm getting pretty sick of is NO ONE will give Romo his due...I keep hearing talking heads saying he's going to fall off, screw up, turn into an interception machine...They keep saying "he's not a proven quarterback" and "he's never played a big game"...He beat 9-0 Indianapolis, recovered from a 5 INT day against Buffalo, had the lead for awhile against the Patriots, beat the 10-1 Packers in the biggest game this year...Dismantled the Eagles, dismantled the Giants twice...The "he's not proven" talk is getting old now.

Personally, I think a lot of the yeah buts are simply a reflection of what we all saw out there.

Green Bay really couldn't stop Dallas on offense...The more dominant team all night was pretty clearly Dallas.

Still, when we went up 27-10, you could almost hear the foot being lifted from the accelerator...Defense stopped swarming to the ball, a lot less pass pressure and Aaron Rodgers directed some long drives that Favre couldn't...Of course, he was dinking and dunking a lot too.

The better team was Dallas 'but' there's still work to be done...Margin of victory should've been 17 at the minumum and the game should've been effectively over at the half
