The new Mustangs look really sharp, but I work for GM and there is no way I would bite the hand that feeds me.

Camaro all the way for me.

But the Corvette stills owns both.
That depends. Which Mustang vs. which Corvette.

Anyone know if Pontiac has plans to unveil a NEW Firebird/Trans-Am? I just figured since GM is putting the Camaro back out that they might, but I have not heard one way or the other.

I have not heard of any rebirth of the Firebird/Trans Am. I personally think GM made a huge mistake in cutting the Camaro and Trams Am out of their lineup.

The Mustang, although always a good selling vehicle, made huge sales after GM bowed out of that field. You just don't cut a sports car out that had a great heritage like the Z-28's and Trams Am.

GM at one time owned the Police cruiser business with the older boxy Impala. They cut production of the Impala and Ford took over with the Crown Victoria. GM brought the Impala back, but it was too little - too late. Ford now owns that business and sells thousands of police cruisers and government vehicles that GM once controlled.

Did you guys know that Ford was to do away with the Mustang? Believe it or not the Ford Probe was going to "replace" it. This was to happen around the same time that GM cut the Trans AM and Camaro. Mustang "Junkies" stormed Ford HQ with letters and therefore the idea to stop producing the Mustang was nixed.
