A huge complaint from fans for the last 5+ years has been the refusual to pay outside help to improve the roster. The biggest thing we hear is "we like the guys we have"
With 8 starters not under contract next year (Cobb, Quinn, Bennett, Byron, Maliek/Convington, Dak, Cooper, Witten) along with players like LVE/Williams being question marks health wise do you see the organziation changing there ways and actually get outside help ?
Look what Greenbay did. They upgraded 5 starting positions via free agency (Safety, both DE spots, Guard, and CB) and then got 2 more full time starters via draft (Darnell Savage and Elgton Jenkins). Thats 7 full time starters in 1 off-season
I could see the team getting 2 full time starters via free agency and signing at least 3 or 4 open market guys to compete for starting jobs. Especially since some of these position (like both DT spots and TE) you don't exactly have to spend much money to upgrade what we have....... (lol)
