As a boss myself, I fail to see how this is applicable to "millennial mentality" in any shape or form. My employees know my door is open to them if they have an issue in their personal life that requires them to miss work. In many cases I don't even dock their pay. I'm a firm but fair boss so don't go preaching to me what puts food on the table.Ah, the weak millennial mentality. Work is what puts bread on the table, roof over my head and pays for the cable and big *** tv I watch my Cowboys games on . I want boss who pushes me to be my best at work and if that means putting in more time to be more success so be it. No excuses, work hard, play hard.
I do the same. I tell them collateral is built in all areas of your lives by the quality you put in on a daily basis everywhere you go. If they do that and life happens, all they need to do is tell me what they need.
