New Defensive Coordinator?

Crazy Idea... SEAN LEE as the asst. defensive coordinator.

Pay him to coach next season. Not sure if this takes his salary off the salary cap if he retires? He is a student of the game. Keep Linehan around for one season to prepare him to take over fully the following year. Eventually I could see him as the future Head coach.

Lee may be a coach on the field, but I'll be amazed if he was ready to go into such a high level role off the bat.
I would assume he would work his way up from LB coach up.

Maybe Ben Bloom instead for DC if Richard leaves?

Lee wouldn't move that fast. He'd be a positional guy first, learn the in's and out's and then go from there.

Been bloom might be a good DC candidate then Lee can work as a defensive assistant or LB assistant.
