People speculate he is going.to be with his buddy, but the Cowboys didnt shaft Kiffin and Rod appears to have full control. Seems like a good situation to just walk away from.

I think many could of said what coach would come to Dallas who at the time had one of the worst ranked defenses in the league and he was working UNDER Kiffin. He probably could've had his choice as a DC last year but chose to work UNDER Kiffin. I think its more so about loyalty with him.

If Kiffin didn't come here last year......Rod probably isn't a coach here.

Agree, no way he goes to Tampa when he and that staff might be fired after 2015. Marinelli has a job in Dallas for years if he wishes.

i hope marinelli stays but if he doesnt Eberflus will be DC. Bet on that. What hes done with the lbers this yr has been top notch

I remember Rob Ryan talking highly of Eberflus and his expertise. Seems he didn't know a 4-3 but has learned. I'd give him a shot if need be. I think this upcoming draft may be defense heavy and that bolds well for whoever is the dc.
