Strange how all our so-called "star players" have injuries just quite at the right time.

The rats are leaving the sinking ship.

But hey, at least he is a great leader!
You haven't left yet, that's a good sign.

That's what I was laughing at because I caught Wyche's speech live.
Yep....just making a point. We don't need Philly fans to cheer that our own is injured (Playmaker)....we already got 'em homegrown doing it now.

Football is a tough sport, and so is the Military and that is why only people with the age between 17-35 can join the Army and only people with the age 17-28 can join the Marines. They know how hard it is on people and at Dak's age coming up is only going to get worse. He could not even join the Army now if he wanted to.
That’s the age limit? Canada is 18-65 lol.

Dak Prescott has offered commentary on his injury for the first time since undergoing surgery.
By Brandon_Loree Nov 21, 2024

Three tendons connect the hamstring muscle to the pelvis. Two were completely torn off the bone. The third was attached and was no more than three centimeters off the bone. A complete tear would have made the decision for Prescott. Surgery would have been the only course. But this partial tear fell into a gray area.

Dr. Dan Cooper, the Cowboys’ physician, gave Prescott the options. He sought three other opinions. All told him essentially the same thing. Prescott would need to rest for four weeks before rehab could even begin. Once he began to work his way back to the field, there was no assurance the hamstring would hold.

“At the end of the day, we were hoping in six weeks I could start gaining strength, which is what all of the doctors were telling me,’’ Prescott said. “But if I waited and rehabbed it, I may or may not be able to regain strength.

He was going to sit out either way. No way would he play all year healthy and win 5 games and that is what would have happened.

Dak was immobile before, yall really gonna hate him after this injury lol. Congrats to the idiots in the front office for caving and paying our mediocre immobile QB TOP QB MONEY LMAO. Might as well have Jerry in a wheel chair out there, probably wouldn't make a difference.
Jerry would probably be more mobile than Dak.
JJ you're in...............Go get em Tiger!!!!

These two QBs of the (what did Dak call them)........ahh the brotherhood will go down as the worst contracts in NFL history.

Needed to rest for 4 weeks before starting rehab but was on the sidelines at the last game for some reason. He was on the sideline at the Iggles game too, bouncing around like he didn't have a thing wrong with him.

Something smells fishy......
only in your head

rest doesn't mean don't move

How could rehab fix it? Or were they hoping rehab to strength what was left and delay surgery to the offseason?
Yah doesnt make sense lol, rehab cant reattach the other 2 !
And if one is hanging by a thread, it would be insane to try to make that strong enough to play !

Those details of Dak's problems appear to present a highly non-promising return.
Perhaps it's a good time for him to take his money and run. It's very shaky. :omg:

So changing the way you run because of a catastrophic ankle injury causes other problems. At 32 next year it's not going to work, take a settlement and retire, for your own well-being.
And ours

So let's say Dak decides to get the surgery. There is no way he is going to make it back for the start of the 2025 season.

Let's also say that Cooper Rush leaves the Cowboys and Trey Lance doesn't show enough improvement.

Ironically, the starting QB for the 2025 season is a rookie they drafted in the 3rd round.

The defense finally gets everyone back from 2024. Diggs and Bland are now fully healthy as is DEs Sam Williams and Marshawn Kneeland.

The offense improves with both Guyton and Beebe now in the 2nd season. They don't make the same mistake from 2024, there is a duo of effective RB's, one a veteran free agent, the other a rookie day #2 draft pick

Another preseason also does wonders for the young WR's and TE's.

The young QB does enough to not be a liability. In fact, the Cowboys are 7-1 by the time Dak is allowed to play.

Dak is not 100%, perhaps around 80% but insists on giving it a try. However, he is told to sit down. He ends the season with only 1 game played where he did some mop-up in a blowout.

At times, history can be rather circular

This rookie starter eventually becomes their future. Despite a no-trade clause, Dak reaches an agreement with the Cowboys and the new team he is traded to.

ok he’s done. he will attempt to play next year sometime. we now have to draft a QB in 1st round out of need. he will probably retire in a few years so he can walk with his daughter some day.

Wait what?

Surgery would have been the only course if the third was completely torn, even though the other two were completely torn?

This reads like Dak reads defenses…

But benching Romo after his surgery and 8 weeks healing time, while throwing lasers all over the field, for this bum was a great option, because of “health”..

I don't judge players when they're injured......but i do judge their heart and fight when they're healthy and playing
