New favorite broadcaster

Not as good as Romo. But understands the game. It makes a big difference.

I don’t appreciate the way Romo calls the game i Rather decide myself what’s happening.

That broadcast team is great and they showed their skills today. Keeping a game interesting when the result is determined by halftime is difficult.

I still like Tony but Nantz is almost too polished. Seems artificial. And I have to put Troy and Buck on mute, mostly because of Buck.

Buck comes across as a complete douchebag.

I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with Greg Olson...I would take him and whats his face ANYDAY over Troy and Frankenstein head. Cannot believe that its his first year in the booth....he is flawless.

Greg Olsen is much better than Aikman and Romo for that matter. Troy is becoming more annoying every season. He chuckles at everything Joe Buck says. I know most hate Joe Buck but he’s an excellent broadcaster, which is why he gets double duty with the NFL and MLB. As for Frankenstein head that goes to Peyton Manning. He would make a perfect Frankenstein monster in a remake of the classic. He’s got the height and the head.

I don't know. I think Witten is the the best TE turned broadcaster if you ask me.

They should put Witt, E. Smith, Buck and the manning brothers in the booth to call a game.. Anyone that makes the broadcast with out muting, changing the channel or ripping their ears off get free SB tickets for life.

He still talks off mic and gets buried in the ambient crowd noise, he doe not have a good broadcaster voice. You should not have to try and listen, you should just hear.

That is one of the advantages that guys like Buck, Michaels and Burkhardt have, their voices cut through and Tony's gets buried. Brad Nussler is good too.

Joe Tessitore as well but he gets so dramatic, he makes me laugh a lot. He reminds me of the actor that played the news anchor in that "Godzilla" movie with Matthew Broderick.

I enjoy your erudition upon the subject and I happen to vehemently agree with your point of view on this. Your experience is a light through the ignorance tunnel, but truly: it is all subjective and the Networks know that and have things down to a science. Even when they are wrong, they'll get it right... for them.
Now... less high-minded typing and back to drivel!
