The mob is turning each other in and ratting each other out why would this be a big secret any longer? Most of the things the mob has been involved with over the years is pretty much out in the open as member after member has spilled their guts.

there was a documentary on a few months ago (History Channel or Discovery Channel, not sure) about a guy who was in prison with Carlos Marcello and said Marcello pretty much admitted that they had a hand in it (with Trafficante).

I have seen others that have shown the warren commission right. Why would the warren commission cover up for the mob? Both parties were members of this commission and the more I think about it the more I'm inclined to think there was no cover up.

Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United States
Richard Russell, Jr. (D-GA), U.S. Senator
John Sherman Cooper (R-KY), U.S. Senator
Hale Boggs (D-LA), U.S. Representative
Gerald Ford (R-MI), U.S. Representative
Allen Welsh Dulles, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency
John J. McCloy, former President of the World Bank

I was in the 4th grade Nov. 22, 1963. I will never forget women outside our school crying and saying the President has been shot.

I lived the closest to our school and they sent me home to get a transistor radio. I got home and forgot to go back to school. I got in trouble for that one.

Anyways, 40 yrs later I visited Dallas and went and stood on the grassy knoll, saw the building Oswald shot him from, .. but when I went and stood on the "x" on the road where JFK was shot, the hair stood up on my neck and everything went real tingly. I jumped back to the side of the road to the sidewalk like I had stuck my finger in an outlet. It was wild to think what had happened there that terrible day 40 years before.

I get that same feeling when I walk a battle ground from the American Revolution, Civil War or even visits to the Alamo or San Jacinto battlegrounds.

I remember getting a similar feeling when I walked out on the track at the Indianapolis 500 Motor Speeday.

Weird.

I don't know where they buried him many have made different claims but there was no hiding the fact that Hoffa was killed and the mob was responsible for it not a big secret.

No, but you said the mob can't keep secrets. I just showed you that they could. Nobody disputes they had it done, yet the secret of who did it, or where he is, is still a mystery.

I know a short while back they did a documentary on this and one of the guys who supposedly did the hit on Hoffa told them the exact house where he was killed. He told them where he was killed in the house. The cops went to that house and while it's been decades, they were able to use the stuff they have now that they put on material to light up blood stains under a special light. I think it might be called Luminal or something.

Anyway, when they went there, they went to the spot in the house, pulled up the rug since it was new since the killing and spread the Luminal. They found lots of blood tracings that would be constant with a gun shot to the head.

If I remember correctly, the house was in Jersey but I could be wrong about that.

EDIT: By BTW, the guy who gave them this information was on his death bed when he told them.

They can't that is why they are turning on each other, why on earth after 47 years has no one said they were involved? Mafia has given up many secrets over the years including each other. And why would the Warren Commission cover up for them?

It's not that the WC is covering up. But there is enough separation between parties for plausible deniability.

Standing on the spot they marked at Gettysburg where Robert E Lee watched the last charge from is a butt tingler for sure.

There's a picture taken of a Union soldier sitting on a rock atop Lil Roundtop sipping from a tin cup.

I got out of bed before daybreak once and took coffee to the area, and sat on a rock as the sun came up from behind me on a colorful autumn morn. Not the exact rock for sure, but still a neat experience.

I'll say this there is no real evidence either way. I have listened to many different theories and yet there is no real evidence to prove it just theories.

Cool. I would love to visit Gettysburg. I did go to Yorktown and that was really neat seeing the different flags of where the troops were positioned and the cannons in place.

I love me some history too. I always have. But we're talking about a guy who the whole family tries to avoid because he's so long winded. At most family get togethers, whoever Jack (my Father in law), happens to corner and start talking too, the rest of us point and laugh at the victim.

I'm sure if it was the first day you met him, you'd be fine, but when you see him on a regular basis, boy can he beat you down.

I'll tell you guys what though, I'll take one for the team and next time I see him I'll ask him to give me his best 2-3 Air Force One stories, and I'll share them on here. I will have to self medicate before I ask him the question though, cause its going to be a LONG time after that before I regain my freedom again.
You'd have to know me away from the board man. I swear to you, listening to guys like that is so right up my alley.

I grew up on a ranch in the southwest. The old cowboys told stories for hours sometimes. I never got bored even if the stories didn't have a point. I have sat and listened to old WWII veterans for literally hours at a time. They could tell me details about a guy whom I would never care about and who had little to nothing to do with the actual point of the story and I never even cared.

If you do video tape him, I will watch every second of it over and over. I literally am that crazy about this stuff.

The Warren Commission wasn't covering for the mob. The mafia wasn't the only group involved. Oswald was involved in the assassination, but not necessarily the mob ... at least not directly.

There are a lot of layers to it, and yes I think there were elements of the CIA and FBI that were involved in a cover up.
