Turpin returned one for TD last year and hes one of the top returners so I love the rule

They have improved the safety of the returner. I don’t know why they can’t go back to a touchback being at the 20. That would encourage more returners to give returning the kick a shot…
These are changes voted on by NFL teams, not Goodell.Goodell changes something every year he won't leave the game alone, this guy has a major problem. His ego is huge and he thinks he's more important than the game itself.
I predict Turp will have an expanded role in next season's offense. If there ever was a time for Turp to become a big time star, it'd be now. That's the other thing. We just need one more stud WR and we're set. The team would just be better as far as that position goes.
I expect the Cowboys to go WR, OL, RB heavy in this draft. In no particular order. You get your impact players there, set up for the future, and land key guys to build your team on.
Meanwhile,
Operation Revive Dak Prescott
Like Hurts, Dak just needs a really good team around him.
There's nothing wrong with that.
That's right,Dallas will build this team to run the ball and draft accordingly .The focus should be on running over your opponents and also having WR's who can get separation .I look for Dallas to draft a burner at WR who can catch the ball , a franchise RB and a mauling at RG or LT .Now back to Turpin ,he will provide great field position with the new kickoff rules, a short field and a power running game would be nice. With Joe Milton added to the roster and having Turpin a 6 point lead is not safe anymore even at the last second.I am getting fired up can't wait to see what happens GO COWBOYS.I predict Turp will have an expanded role in next season's offense. Meanwhile, go back to free agency and get some of the better defenders. Team guys with the traits and coachability you want. So true, and another point this head coach Brian Schottenheimer. I have watched interviews of him and I believe he has what it takes to be a good head coach, this guy is talking about the trenches and speed. This guy is a culture changer I do believe because he is smart and has a vision of what he wants out of his football team. All moves are geared to help Prescott's job much easier .If this guy can bring some discipline into this roster the sky is the limit ,looks good so far.Meanwhile, go back to free agency and get some of the better defenders. You can compete this year. If you can compete, you have a shot to win. If you're not competing, none.
It was broken, and that's why they fixed it. They changed the kickoff to get more returns, but teams were still kicking it through the endzone. They had to either move the touchback to the 35, or kickoff back to the 30 yard line. They make changes just to make changes.
If it is not broke don't tamper with it. Or don't do it too much.
That might work if they moved the kickoff back to the 30.They have improved the safety of the returner. I don’t know why they can’t go back to a touchback being at the 20. That would encourage more returners to give returning the kick a shot…
How many more suits are working for the NFL these days? They make changes just to make changes.

They should have let the KO as it was. However, I can see the 35 yard line creating more excitement for returns.
Remember the PAT they lined up at the 2 yard line, so a fake was always in play. Then they moved it back so that removed the surprise element. But made games more interesting if that PAT was missed. As opposed to being made 99.9% of the time.
Now the onside kick surprise is gone. So a team now knows, onside kick, or 2 point conversion.
Just another change it will take time to get used to.
