CowboysPrincess said:Yeah, and so do all the hackers out there that are using IE to collect all your personal information and credit card info so they can buy Christmas w/ your card and not theirs. And lets not forget all those Neanderthals that have nothing better to do on their college break other than to find holes in Windows or IE and introduce a trojan virus or worm into your system...
Sadly it's not kids anymore that hacks, many engineers in Eastern Europe (Mostly Russia) have worked in spamming gangs (And some believe the Russian mob is involved, whomever it is the truth is professional criminals are now involved) - the majority of phishing scams that take advantage of a re-direct flaw in IE come from Russia. With unemployment high many engineers are turning to spam/hacks as a way to make a living, and sadly a nice one at that. Nigeria is also a country that has identity theft problems and they take advantage of using deaf phone lines to order very large electronic items using stolen credit cards.
IE's biggest flaw - Active X and leaving it wide open (A lot of flaws are because of this), if anything I'd use Firefox simply because it's disabled...
