On a semi-related note. Ever wonder why #88 is not on the un-official retired numbers list?
I think 54 is the only official retired jersey maybe? Either that or 12 for Roger? I know Dallas is known for not retiring jerseys over all.

I think DC will give legacy number to a player if they play lets say offense but want to wear 28 a la Felix Jones. I dont think they will give it to DB. We have seen 33 on defensive players in Dallas.

I understand the new position number rule but Cox with #14 seems kinda wheels off.

Nooch should get 16 now I guess. That seems like what is most important.

Second-year cornerback Trevon Diggs is one of several players that will be switching numbers this year, moving to No. 7. Last year, Diggs wore No. 27 as a rookie but wore No. 7 in college at Alabama.

Other players expected to be on the move with their jerseys include rookies Jabril Cox, who is expected to wear No. 14, Osa Odighizuwa should be moving to No. 97 and Nahshon Wright is headed to No. 25.

I know it would never happen, but it would be kinda cool if you could buy a jersey number and have an interchangeable name plate.
