New offensive Coordinator

Bring in anyone from the Chiefs or the Rams and you still have Dak running those offenses.

Just saying some serious QB coaching needs to be done.
The hiring of Kellen Moore has to rank in the top 5 of stupid moves the franchise has made in the last ten years.

I think everybody sees KMoore isnt ready and it appears Dak [to me] doesnt respect him.
I see better quarter backing now that the oline is giving him space and we got a #1 receiver.
JJones has said Dak is getting extended thats what we'll be working with.

Replacing Garrett!
Hi sis! That most likely won’t happen next year, because of his contract (and Booger’s love), unless the team TOTALLY craps the bed in the final 6 games. If we don’t make the playoffs, they’ll probably:

1)Ditch Linehan
2)Get Dak guru help
3)Get WRs and TEs

not gona happen

As much as it pains me, I have to agree. Garrett will be here at least another year. Linehan is probably gone though. I'd look at some good college HCs for OC. We ain't luring someone from a top program to take that job, but we might get someone like Gundy to bite on the job.

I reject the premise that Garrett isn’t going anywhere. Every time Jerry sees Rams highlights he thinks he has his version of McVay just waiting for him about 90 minutes to the north. Garrett is coaching for his job right now.

Yup and so did the offense. Romo wasn’t helping Dak and if you believe he did I have lake front property I can sell you in Pecos ,Texas

You'd be rich selling property to most on here who believed Romo helped Dak!

I may be wrong, but I think what you are saying used to be accurate, but I think they changed that rule. Anyone know for sure?

they did and it has been a little while now.

NFL RULES FOR CONTACTING COACHES UNDER CONTRACT

"Anti-Tampering Policy" In Plain English

MISCELLANEOUS

TWO TIERS OF COACHING STAFFS: a coach is either the Head Coach or he is an Assistant Coach, regardless of what title a team may give it's coaches. The League office only recognizes Head Coach or Assistant coach when it enforces the Anti-Tampering Rules.

LATERAL OPPORTUNITIES

  • Assistant coach - to - Non Head Coach opportunities
o Note: "promotions" to coordinator level are NOT promotions under this policy; a coach is either an Assistant Coach or a Head Coach, period.

Goff was a bust until McVey came in

And it was stated last night, McVey and Jared do about everything together, but take a crap, and hell who knows, they may even do that and exchange new, super duper new fangled twisty gimmick plays under the stall walls...or MAYBE they have a secret micro mini pass through hole, either way McVey is hands on with Goff

Why, in the name of broccoli, would Lincoln Riley leave OU to take over the Cowboys? At OU he has a program going where he just reloads every year, will always be in contention to win big and can make as much (if not more) money as an NFL head coach. Why walk away from that to go someplace that does not value the head coach and gives them very limited power?

Based on how this team is built and the sudden improvement, I wouldn't be surprised if they promote Colombo was promoted to OC (or at least OC for the running game).
