Mathieu normally wouldn't have come to the receiver in that play, but when your offense is unstoppable and you have a 3 td lead with less than half a quarter to go, you can take chances. Has nothing to do with reading defenses, in fact reading the defense would tell you Mathieu would NOT have come over to help.

This game was gonna be a beatdown. I am not sure if it mattered the team we played. I dont think saints are that good. I just think that our Defense is that bad and Dak has very few receivers he feels good throwing to. Brooks is not the guy he can trust. We needed a score and a stop and Dak forced it. I see saints being allowed to play more physical than they should be. If we do then it’s a flag. Tuck your tail and get some garbage stats.
