Testing the waters here on who still thinks we should make a move for Suh next season. Now would seem to be a good time.

Yea or nay? What say ye?

I'd be happy as a bo weevil in whatever makes bo weevils happy if people would quit bringing it up on a seemingly weekly basis. having a damn good time enjoying this year and not really ready to talk about the draft, the off-season, training camp and so forth. some people can't just enjoy today, always trying to make tomorrow, today, so they can ignore it and chase tomorrow.

again.

fyi - the POS can stay where he is.

Do not want him. Dallas has done a good job of weeding out headcases I see no reason to break the bank to bring this idiot in.

re: AP

I can tolerate a lot of of transgressions but child abuse is not one of them. I could NEVER feel could about a known child abuser on the Cowboys.

Let me repeat what the NFL said when they suspended him:

In his letter to Peterson announcing the running back was suspended from the Minnesota Vikings for at least the final six games of the regular season, the commissioner cited the "visible swelling, marks and cuts" on the child's ankles, limbs, back, buttocks and genitals left by Peterson's weapon of choice, a tree branch, or "switch," for the severity of the penalty.

This is merely how many children we raised in Texas, nowhere near child abuse. It's a called a good *** whupping. I had a few myself while growing up in Fort Worth.

Marks and cuts on the genitals on a 4 year old from a "whupping"?

I have no problems with corporal punishment -- I have both received it as a child and administered it as a parent. Based on what I've read about this case I think this went beyond it.

It's quite possible that some enjoy today, in part, by talking about its implications on tomorrow.

You don't. Good for you. Your choice.

But why so harsh towards others who make a different choice/

Ap is not a child abuser, a long time ago when you went to school, and if you did something wrong you were hit with a strap on your hands. Wasn't that abuse? I grew up where parents desciplining their children was fine as long as they didn't carry it too far. This whole AP case has been blown out of proportion and is nothing more than making an example out of him. I would take him on this team in a heartbeat.

AP, to me, is a classic case of what's wrong with society today. determine what someone did years ago was bad, slap a new law/social standard saying so today, and punish them today for doing something normal at the time.

I don't believe AP to be a child abuser, but I still don't want him on the team.

Rather keep Murray than throw money at Suh or AP.

Though knowing Jerry's desire to make headlines I wouldn't be surprised if he signed one of them. I think AP is the more likely of the two.

No to both. I don't think Suh is good for any team. Why are the Lions allowing him to walk?
Like the above post states child abuse isn't except able. His 31 years on top of that.

Exactly. If he's so good, then why will he be available?

No thank you to Suh. Want the team to keep building through the draft. Focus on the DL the next two drafts. Not interested in Suh's price tag either. (As if I'm spending my own money...lol)
