New Superman movie

Dont' like the \S/ and the colors look bad.

I can't tell -- did they lose the underwear on the outside?

Looks bad ..... why would the change the last guy? ......he was perfect.

Routh cannot act for crap. And I'm not sure Superman ever had a gigantic nose like Routh.

Hairline's a little too high, and the costume appears to be made out of leather and not fabric for some reason. This ain't Batman you know.

I was thinking it look more like rubber.

Just another super hero movie I will pass on.

Looks like it could be good, at the very least you know you'll get to see Superman actually using his powers for more than catching planes and lifting boulders.

I'm not sure on Henry Cavill, his hair in that shot looks like Silvio's:

No, looks like the underwear is there. It is dark, so I don't think I can truly judge the colors at this point. Have to wait to see another picture with more lighting.

I don't think it looks bad. Sure tweaks can be done, but overall it is not bad. It is not an easy costume to bring to the big screen in my opinion.

The last Superman movie was bad. It had a poor plot and the acting was bad. I think the actors knew it was bad and didn't give it their all. Spacey seemed bored in the role. Routh was too busy trying to be Christopher Reeve instead of trying to be Clark Kent/Superman. They put too much effort into paying tribute to previous Superman movies and comics with cameo appearances and supposed to be funny lines instead of concentrating on making a good movie.

No, but I heard the movie is going to be in 3D. :laugh2:

Another reason not to spend money on it. :D

That cape looks ridiculously long, like the train to a wedding dress.

Wish I could fly like Superman. :laugh2:

How original.

No kidding!

Hollywood is terrified of, and allergic to, anything that doesn't come with previous version. It pretty much has to exist somewhere else for them to consider it nowadays. Unless some Big Name attaches themselves to an original concept. The studios execs, bean counters and shoe salesmen all, won't touch something otherwise.

I also find Superman to be one of the most boring superhero types around. They really have to work it hard to get anything challenging for him.

Frankly they should be terrified, the masses don't actually GO to independent, original features.

When tickets cost $15 - $20 bucks a pop, people are far less likely to risk the money on a film with little firepower behind it, but even before that, it's rare that the low budget film garners any major attention, regardless of how good a film it is.

I do agree, however, that Superman is pretty boring but that's also because he adheres to the classic hero type and the only great storyline (corrupted Superman) has already been done.

Outfit looks good.

Actor.. not so much. Almost like a young Christopher Walken. Just doesn't fit.

Oh.. It's me. SuperMAN Here to save.. the DAY!

I donno how you type to make it seem like Walken is talking but, yeah that.
