just caught a pass for a first down!
I’d prefer rules closer to the NCAA in celebration. Or a simple spike allowed after a TD.The "Act like you've been there- done it before" attitude \mindset in sports competition fell by the wayside long ago...and for the most part - it won't ever return to be the norm.
Professional sports used to be full of respectable, distinguished, admirable men. Not all, but most. The "Act like you've been there- done it before" attitude \mindset in sports competition fell by the wayside long ago...and for the most part - it won't ever return to be the norm.
I wanna see it, but only when it's warranted.Seems to be that as long as one does not flex toward or at an opponent, it is ok.
I am all for a ref throwing a flag at the Jaylon swipe. I don’t think there is anyone who wants to see that.![]()
It’s about personal gratification. Which is where the game has dramatically changed over the years.Professional sports used to be full of respectable, distinguished, admirable men. Not all, but most.
Now it's a mass of painfully unrefined clowns.
The worst example I ever solved was in a college game. It’s about personal gratification. Which is where the game has dramatically changed over the years.
What’s really ridiculous is when a player celebrates when their team is down several scores and going to lose anyway.
I completely agree with this new rule, but not if it's going to apply to plays like this. Hopefully, this is an overreaction for preseason purposes.
The taunting nonsense has to stop. It's crept into all levels of football.
But this play is nothing. They need to be more judicious about applying the penalty than this.
