New taunting rule

just caught a pass for a first down!

The "Act like you've been there- done it before" attitude \mindset in sports competition fell by the wayside long ago...and for the most part - it won't ever return to be the norm.
I’d prefer rules closer to the NCAA in celebration. Or a simple spike allowed after a TD.

Professional sports used to be full of respectable, distinguished, admirable men. Not all, but most.

Now it's a mass of painfully unrefined clowns.

the nfl made zeke change his feed me crap because they are starving kids all over the world.

his new one is, "look at me, look what I can do"

Seems to be that as long as one does not flex toward or at an opponent, it is ok.

I am all for a ref throwing a flag at the Jaylon swipe. I don’t think there is anyone who wants to see that. :)
I wanna see it, but only when it's warranted.

It’s about personal gratification. Which is where the game has dramatically changed over the years.

What’s really ridiculous is when a player celebrates when their team is down several scores and going to lose anyway.

The worst example I ever solved was in a college game.

Texas A&M defensive tackle Johnny Jolly made a tackle behind the line of scrimmage when OU was inside the 5-yard line. He had a big dance for everybody.

OU was winning at the time, 77-0.

I completely agree with this new rule, but not if it's going to apply to plays like this. Hopefully, this is an overreaction for preseason purposes.

The taunting nonsense has to stop. It's crept into all levels of football.

But this play is nothing. They need to be more judicious about applying the penalty than this.

This is "taunting" but running to the star in the middle of the field for whatever Tom foolery is OK...
