I think your posting is sloppy and you need to work on it, cause you ain't going to no hall of fame. Your signature might, but that is a different story.

Ah yes, she will def make it to the Hall Of Fame.

I like it. I am sure Pope has already spoken to him on the side and gave him the, "I am gonna give you crap today so the young guys know, that no one is above coaching" speech.

I imagine Jason would like it. He seems to be a perfectionist that is always looking for something to improve his game. Any little tid bit from a coach that could help him work on something is probably appreciated...especially if it is a coach that is well respected in the NFL.

With that said...I would imagine the coach has to really has to search to find things to push Witten and have Witten work on. What the coach really needs to spend the majority of his work on is the other TEs on the team. Well he and Coach Woicik

Not to rag on Witten but I do feel his game has slipped slightly. He still puts up great numbers but I think there is room for him to tighten it back up a bit. Hopefully this leads to even better play on his part.

That generally happens when you play as long as he has. Even at his age, he's still one of the best TE's in the game

Heard he was also working with Rowdy, thought Rowdy had lost some speed and was working on his technique.

there are a lot of OC's that would love to have Witten's sloppy routes.

I feel disrespected...Everyone knows I'm the only tight ends guru!

I don't see where he is above criticism. Yes, he's a great player. But he isn't perfect. If he would have caught that pass against the Eagles instead of the interception we may have made the playoffs.

How is the new TE coach a guru anyhow? Wasn't he with the Giants last year? Their fans hated him. At least the ones on the Giants message board did.

He doesn't pick his own routes.

This made me laugh for some reason

I don't think he runs it sloppy. But he is not going to create great separation so it does make the pass risky.

He is older and probably wiser as well. He might not be at the top of his 'Witten' game, but he is far better than more out there.
The evidence: Romo trusts Witten to be at the exact spot that he is supposed to be because Witten is Romo's security blanket.

He is what he is at this point. I was pretty pissed when he didn't turn his palms out for that pass from Orton in the last game of the season. Turned into an INT because of that. Hard to point a finger at Witten but he is not above it.

As long as he is not following Witten around huffing and puffing "high and tight, Jason", sounds good.
