I saw somewhere online that we just finished putting in new turf. Can anyone shed some light on this? I saw some pictures and it looked like basically the same thing, perhaps it's a performance kind of upgrade?

I heard it was essentially the same turf, just redesigned sections of the turf so it's easier to pull up for events other than football. Something along those lines anyway...

I think every few years the turf just has to be replaced from general wear and tear of the season and installing/uninstalling for other events.

Except if you're the Vikings, their turf is hideous and many players have blown out their knees on it. There was a Viking who blew out his knee in pregame warm up a couple years back, that's how bad it is.

Jerry is having a control system installed that allows him to control turf conditions from his seat. If any opponent players just fall down for no reason, you'll know Jerry's system is working. :)

Bingo. The Giants/ Jets just replaced the turf at the Medowlands a few weeks ago. Wear and tear.
