I hate the Giants because...

Their Uniforms are ugly, their insignia is ugly, their coach is ugly, their QB is WAY overrated, their running game is overrated, Plaxico and Shockey are overrated, Strahan now is overrated, their Oline sucks, their secondary sucks(too bad Ross from UT went there), oh yeah, and their our Division RIVALS.

I don't hate the Giants I just hope we stomp them into the turf at Texas Stadium. 1st game of the season aginst a division opponet I would consider that an important game to start off the season. I would love a blow out but expect a hard fought game.

I hate the Giants because they get all the NYC press... and the Jets don't.

I guess it's like the Mets and Yankees. But I can see the Yanks being the real draw in NYC, because of all their championships. The Jets and Giants?? Why do the Giants get all the press? (I'm a young'n, so maybe it has something to do with the AFL vs. NFL, etc. and one of you more seasoned football fans can enlighten me??). Then again, the jets fans are easily the loudest at the drafts.

I think the Jets are a much easier team to like... They rarely have the type of petty drama that the Gints are infamous for. They have had some IMO outstanding coaches recently with Herm and Mangini. And they have Joe Namath in their history. Who do the Giants have? LT, Phil Simms, and Frank Gifford??

Not that I'm a Jets fan, but I'd much rather an AFC team get the press than these guys.

I used to be a Jets fan - was for decades, in fact.

I haven't watched a full Jets game in a few years, and only posted on a Jets board this summer to say my fond goodbyes to Curtis Martin, one of the few NFL players EVER I feel deserves the compliment 'warrior'.

I got swallowed up by the Cowboys (thanks, Bill ), with no regrets, but I still HATE the second class citizen status the Jets have vis a vis the Jints.

How often did you see the always classy Martin getting soundbytes compared to that endlessly self-promoting cretin Tiki?
