Good they hung in and figured out a way to win but our secondary is trash and the constant line of scrimmage dump offs were eaten up every time but they kept doing it. Use use the middle of field. Was open. They played with heart but looked like they were figured out..

The safeties were completely lost all game. Was surprised Donovan Wilson was even in the area for the Int.
Got to get more pressure on the quarterback. Running zone means the QB is going to be able to find an opening it in unless you get some pressure on him. It's no surprise that Wilson's interception came when Williams was able to push the LT into his face.

Ummm…after playing one of the worst run defenses in the league from last year who made little to no upgrades and who Washington ran for 220 yards against last week? A little premature, I hope that was a “cheek in tongue” comment.
Dexter Lawrence was hurt. And they made a bunch of upgrades lol. They drafted Abdul Carter, signed Chauncey Gholston, Dexter Lawrence is healthy who’s arguably the best DT in the league.

No. Dropped passes don’t happen in the clutch. How many dropped passes did you see in the 4th? Yall weird man lol. You want to crap on Dak that’s cool. But for interceptions that didn’t happen is nuts.
keep telling yourself that

Eberflus should have learned what Zimmer found out, they are a man cover team and are awful on zone coverage. Elam with those 10 yard cushions, Diggs looking totally lost, Wilson is terrible coverage safety
Agree. Ditch zone. We got carved bad.

Spoiled fans...
30+ years without even a Championship game and this is what you come up with? With that defense showing today? We only won because Wilson was our best defender in OT (and the Giants are a bad team).

I now expect the "its not easy to win in the NFL" excuse.

I applaud your positivity most of the time, but come on man.

THe beauty of having Pickens is that it always isnt a given that you are going to Lamb on every big play.

I am really waiting to see them commit a game plan to the run. You have to start in the first quarter....but we were 23-6 pass to run to start. It will also help the defense of we have some long ball control drives.

16 penalties for 160 yds for the midgets

12 penalties for 106 for the boys

BUT we got SIX first downs to ONE for them so a definite edge in the laundry competition

and more officials need to be hung
12 penalties is MM territory. A win is a win, but I hope not too many players or coaches are happy. You just escaped at home against a pretty bad team.

There's really not much positive to take from this game
Good work in the red zone, but you cannot give us big passing plays when your scheme is designed to take them away. Diggs, Elam, Wilson all had horrible games

Top takeaways from this game:

#1. We need to sign Clowney. That was a very disappointing show by our DEs.
#2. It is time to make Terrance Steele the swing tackle. His pass blocking has been awful.
#3. I’d don’t want to see Sanborn taking snaps from Liufau. He’s not a starting caliber linebacker.
#4. Eberflus needs to figure out our coverage. That was embarrassing.
