I agree Burns, Carter, Thibs and Dex are better than what we have but they had 3 out of the 4 last year and sucked against the run. We had Parsons and Tank at one point and also sucked against the run. In case you didn’t know, play calling, LB’ers, safeties and CB’s all come into play and the Giants have sucked on defense overall and especially against the run.

A couple adjustments on defense and consistent offense with an established run game? Could end up being a better than expected season.

Some notes:

- Javonte Williams looks really good. Sanders was alright. We need Blue to pull his head out and provide a spark in the backfield.

- the OL had some major problems in pass pro. Run blocking was acceptable. Outside of the botched snap, Hoffman filled in adequately for Beebe.

- Tolbert has regressed. Little separation and his hands are inconsistent, although he did make a clutch catch in the 4th. Lamb and Pickens are exceptional as a 1-2. Need to find out is there is a legitimate 3rd option on the roster or PS. I'd be curious to see how Holden looks running with the 1's. We may find out if Turpin is out next week.

- 4.0YPC with Skattebo as NY's leading rusher, averaging 4.1 a clip. Wilson's scrambles brought the average up just a bit.

- Lots of busted coverages. Diggs had some bad plays, Wilson and Elam were pretty bad until the end. You can't let receivers run free through the back end. This needs to be addressed, whether It's through trade or coaching. Adding Gilmore makes alot of sense.

- Pass rush was inconsistent, but not invisible. Clark stood out a few times. Houston looked good early, but kind of disappeared. I wasn't keying in on him, but didn't notice him either.

- Aubrey deserve a key to the city.

- I owe Dak an apology. His pocket presence extended drives and he elevated the offense when it was clear that this was going to be a shootout. I thought he was cooked coming into the season. Happy to admit that I was wrong.

- Ugly game. Love the win, but they have alot to work on this week.

That may be true, but the interception happened because Sam Williams shoved the LT back in Wilson's lap and he couldn't see. Even though Nabors was open to the sideline, Wilson just threw it blindly to where he hoped he'd be.

Did you see the play with Elam earlier, he touches the receiver and nobody picks him up, basic football, lol

One thing, This was the best the Giants can play. They threw the sink at us. We took major haymakers. Giants gifted us nothing. We took it. We stopped them on money time 3 times in OT. Hard to do considering what they did all day.

The Giants should have laid a fifty-burger on us. Despite amassing 14 penalties (not including the several that were waived), costing them 160 yards, they still managed to produce over 500 yards of offense (422 through the air), and made our secondary appear utterly incompetent.

(Any questions as to whether Diggs has returned to All-Pro form have been emphatically answered in the negative.)

No one should be happy with this. We should have lost to a bottom 5 team. At home. Going 0-17 is much better than going 7-10. This team will NOT beat anyone good. GB will win by 50. Easy.

if you want to bet I will take dallas + 50 !

They barely beat a bad Giants team. Which means that the difference between the Giants and the Cowboys is a lot more closer than anyone else thought.

We deserved a tie in this game. Luckily the Giants were shooting themselves in the foot all game and a win was scratched out. I’m just very afraid to see this defense against an actual good offense though, 400 passing yards might be the norm

Losing Turpin definitely hurt us. Was feeling a little better about Tolbert after the diving catch, then came the drop. If you are going to have drops like that, your name better be CeeDee. He does enough otherwise to make us somewhat forgive the drops.

We played better defensively (in the second half) against a better offense last week, but yeah, we haven't seen an offensive juggernaut yet. Thankfully, I don't think we have too many on the early portion of our schedule.
