You can now embed the HD videos from youtube. A couple of people have already discovered this.

To do it simply add hd at the end of the normal tag, or youtubehd.

So on youtube find the video and everything after the = sign is what you put in the tags. In the link below it is the part in red.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFaTuq3-VrM&

Thus it looks like this.

HTML:
[youtubehd]ZFaTuq3-VrM&[/youtubehd]
[youtubehd]ZFaTuq3-VrM&[/youtubehd]

I want to thank bbgun for the video he made which I used to demonstrate this.

Awesome! I was there for that one. The video does not do the noise level in that stadium justice at all.

Thanks. I've pretty much deleted every recording from last season, save for the Philly playoff game. A few more samples:

DeMarcus being DeMarcus

Jenkins' "oh no" moment
[youtubehd]fV-8AgjIXgw[/youtubehd]

Miles' TD in Philly

Here is that whole drive with the radio call from the greatness of Brad and Babe

and here maybe the key moment of the season with brad and babe.

To further this, you can directly link to spots in video from an embedded video by appending "&start=seconds" after the video id.

Start at 13 seconds:
HTML:
[youtubehd]ZFaTuq3-VrM&start=13[/youtubehd]
[youtubehd]ZFaTuq3-VrM&start=13[/youtubehd]

Start at 61 seconds (1:01):
HTML:
[youtubehd]ZFaTuq3-VrM&start=61[/youtubehd]
[youtubehd]ZFaTuq3-VrM&start=61[/youtubehd]

Also works in SD at 61 seconds.

HTML:
[youtube]ZFaTuq3-VrM&start=61[/youtube]
[youtube]ZFaTuq3-VrM&start=61[/youtube]

I've seen a couple instances recently where people linked to a youtube vid telling them to watch at x:xx when they can already deep link. Was waiting for another youtube thread since if I started it, it wouldn't get as many views.

can you do that with other videos, like dallascowboys multimedia, etc?

I can't tell ya how much I appreciate the video/image folks on this site. I wish I had the patience to figure this stuff out but I can't sit still long enough. Especially in the spring/summer. Thanks to you guys I log in, click and enjoy which allows me to do other things. Thanks a ton for making it easy on me. I mean that.

If I had any extra monies at all why I'd, well, put it in my savings account. But it's the thought that counts! :D

Thanks again.
