Giants coach Tom Coughlin shed little light on Brandon Jacobs' (knee) status in his Monday presser, saying only that Jacobs is "sore."

Coughlin confirmed the injury is an "ongoing thing," although he did say he thought Jacobs could have re-entered Sunday's game if he had to. The Giants were getting it handed to them by Philadelphia, so Jacobs stayed in the sidelines. Jacobs is uncertain to play in Week 15 against the Cowboys.

I'm sure you were all broke up when the gnats beat half of Dallas' team earlier this year...

it was a win, nothing more and nothing less. there was no bragging rights by winning that game because dallas was to beat up. we all knew it was going to be a mis match game. If Jacobs does not play we have lost our best running back and a top reciever. thats a chunk of our offense. But I will never make excuses. If you guys beat us, I'll tip my cap. if we beat you. theres a funeral in dallas scheduled for tuesday..
