Newman and Bledsoe should have made the Pro Bowl. I know it's a popularity contest but these two deserve it.

What is good about Bledsoe not making it is Delhome did and Drew will be out top prove he deserves it more this weekend.

Bledsoe was .5 points behind Delhomme in QB Rating. If he hadn't thrown that final pass for an INT he'd be .5 higher. If he got a TD on the pass it would be 1.5 points higher (88).

I wish the NFL would give the breakdown of the votes.

All three components factor equally, and it would be interesting to see who put Mike Vick in this year (I suspect the players) or Larry Allen (I suspect the fans who couldn't name three NFL guards if their lives depended on it).

Newman most certainly should he going.

It'll never happen but I'd love to see a 100 percent coaches vote for the PB, with no coach being able to select a player from his own team.

The Pro Bowl proves itself to be a bit of a joke this year again.

In all honesty, the only Cowboy that definitely deserved to go was Tnew. RoyW probably deserves to be there as well. Witten - didn't have a dynamite receiving year and has regressed as a blocker so I agree with him being an alternate. I also agree with Glover not making the team - his game has really begun to slide this year.

OTOH, LA made the team and he doesn't belong there. He probably should be cut or traded before next year - he has been bad. Too bad we can't do the same for his overpaid counterpart at RG who "stole" $9M SB from JJ - when will he ever learn his lesson with overpaying old vets at non-premium positions (LA, Rivera, Fergy). He could probably learn a thing or two from the Eagles front office (who could also probably stand to learn a thing or two from JJ - something in the middle would be better for both franchises).

no...............Vick in the pro bowl is one of the most outrageous things about this years pro bowl, i mean come on!!!!!

This guy has a 71 passer rating, 13 TD's and 12 Ints, he is leading his team nowhere, and it pisses me off to see him in there, especially after his abissmal performance this year!!!!!!!!!

Bledsoe and Brunell had better years!!!!!!

newman's had a good year, but hard to vote him in ahead of the three that made it. Vasher, Hall and Barber have had pretty good years.

Hall is someone who doesnt deserve to go. His INT's come against teams who are crappy (Saints) and he getting burnt much more than anyone who lines up at CB for us.

They have both played better than last season, but I don't think either deserves the ProBowl, certainly not Newman.

Pro bowl & hall of fame both = anti Cowboy bias.
That's rediculous. The Pro Bowl is a popularity contest, nobody has had more undeserving players in the Pro Bowl than Dallas over the years.

Probowl is about numbers more than anything. Newman doesn't get many passes thrown his way, therefore has little chances for picks, so he doesn't get the guady numbers.

It sadly is a popularity contest and the flashy players tend to get selected. Newman could have gave up a lot more yards but if he would have taken a few picks back for TD's he would have had a better chance of getting in.
