Newman just significantly increased his chances at making future Pro Bowls.

I guess this is a better route than getting your head stomped in on national television.
Phase 1: Fox News

Phase 2: ?????????

Phase 3: Profit!

Well, the Panthers and Skins (led by Todd Collins) should both be locks now. If they beat the Lions or Eagles, that pretty much wraps up HFA as far as I'm concerned.

But it would be much easier to take care of business this Sunday.

Do you guys realize that in order for the Cowboys to play in a wildcard game, they would have to lose 3 out 4 or 4 out of 4? Does anyone really think we go 1-3 or 0-4?

Please stop with this ridiculous wildcard game talk. At worst, we'll get #2 HFA, Noway we are in a wildcard game, no friggin way.

Only way for us to get a wildcard is for us to go 0-4 and Giants to go 4-0.

We were talking about the wildcard weekend. 2 division winners will be forced to play the 2 wildcard teams. Dallas should easily be able to avoid having to play wildcard weekend with a win this weekend.

I could be wrong but if we go 1-3 (I shudder even thinking about this) and if Seahawks and Bucs go 4-0 each that means they would have better conference record since they only lost two conference games so we would own third best record and be a wildcard.

But none of that matters because we will not go 1-3, at worst 3-1. ;)

Some one correct me if I'm wrong. :)

I believe you are correct. Both of those teams (Sea and TB) would have to win out and Dallas would have to fall to 1-3 over the last 4. Beat Det this weekend and it will almost be a done deal for the bye week

If we win just 1 more game, we clinch our division. We could play in a wild card game, but would not be the wild card, thus we'd at least have one home game.

If we went 0-4 and Seattle, Tampa, and New York went 4-0, then we'd get in as a wild card.

You are correct, I meant playing in a wildcard game, not entered as a wildcard.

The thing I don't like about what Newman said is that now the NFL has sent him a letter chastising him for what he said as a "threat"...and that in turn is going to make the refs even more touchy with their flags against Dallas!

I mean it's bad enought with the ref calls against the Cowboys as it is, and now with Newman's comments it may be worse!

If the Cowboys somehow lose to the Lions because of bad ref calls, well...?

I'm hoping that we beat them so badly that ref's actions won't have much of effect on the score.

Dallas players don't need to resort to cheap shots. If you get a chance for a clean shot on Kitna take it. I expect our guys to be aggressive and hard hitting but do it legit.

Who said anything about cheap shots? Why are you putting words in my mouth when that post had nothing to do with cheap shots?

I figured I would chime in since this has turned into a bash Fox thread and some of the pansies are bashing them.

Fox has a much higher rating than CNN, and MSNBC because they report much more right down the line than the others.

With that said, all they did was report something the NFL said they would do. How is this some kind of bias?

Some of you people need to get over yourselves.

Down the middle. As in objective, fair and balanced. Without bias and without malice. As to provide equal time to bot sides. Not left or right. Honest.

How's that? Does that clear it up? :p:

Fair and Balanced might be their slogan, but you would have to be an idiot to believe they practice such a thing.

You're only making it worse.

Fox leans right, everyone else leans left. Just admit it and be done with it.
