As Newman was saying on the Ticket earlier it's best to rest now early on, rather than risk missing the remainder of the season due to aggravation of the injury.

I don't buy the idea that tearing it would be a great thing. I just don't.

I'm wondering how much rest he'll need to fully recover.

Wade will have to earn his pay with the defense today and for the rest of the year. I'm sure Reeves will be solid if unspectacular, but you can't replace Newman. All of the sudden our secondary looks pedestrian. The pass rush better get there in a hurry or they will light us up like x-mas tree.
