Newman vs Smith (Harold, how do you have it on your scorecard)

Sorry, but that was one of the worst plays I have ever seen T Newman make. It should have been interference and worst of all he had an easy pick if he plays the ball like he should instead of turing tail and running for Keyshawn. He should be embarrassed at that play. Henry should be embarrasssed for letting Keyshawn abuse him too!

hey he was alert.....he made the alert play by knowing there was nobodyy behind him...so he ran and caught up...n just jumped in the air.....

I had Newman allowing one catch for 11 yards, a quick slant when Newman was all over Smith and tackled him right away.

they went to him twice in the endzone...and made a play on the ball twice....

Key had one (1) catch for 19 yards. Other than that, he had a ggod black on the S.Smith run for a TD. Hmmmm....I'm pretty sure everyone on this board would be up in arms at any of our guys for a performance like his.

He had two bad drops as well.

We just held one of the elite recieving corps in the NFL under 110 yards... our corners played well. Get a grip.

Drop by Keyshawn would have been a TD and that should have been interference on Newman.

Otherwise they played very well, but it burns me that Henry got burned by Keyshawn twice, and I mean burned badly. I guess you can look at it both ways with them knowing each others tendancies.

By the way, I was one who was supporting our secondary last week for its play against Eli, so I am not just being negative but those two plays made me mad and I am NOT embarrassed for saying so.

Just like the Oline played well for 95% of the game but the penalties killed drives in the first half and they cost games!

And, Smith had 3 bs catches

2 for 14 yards on that ridiculous drive of theirs at the end of the first half (silly irrelevant screen passes when we were'nt covering close)

and 1 catch on the last drive for 5 yards down 21 with a minute to go and no timeouts. Congrats again

So, he really had 2 catches for 36 yards, 22 of which came against zone, not Newman.

Newman gave up one catch for about 12 yards.
