I personally like the list for each year......of course, I would prefer to have some older guys go too....but I cannot argue with the selections they have....with the acception of Aeneas Williams. I think he is HOF worthy, but not ahead of other CBs who are still waiting like Cornell Green, Everson Walls, Cliff Harris, Charlie Waters.....and those are just the Cowboys DBs that are waiting.....there are more from other teams as well.

Does it bother anyone else that Andre Tippett got in and Chuck Howley still isn't in?

Uh...yeah. A lot. And I don't get him over Derrick Thomas at all.

Yep. You betcha. I was thinking that during Tippett's induction.

I don't get Fred Dean as a Hall of Famer while Harvey Martin doesn't even make the preliminary list.

That too... and Harvey's the single season all-time sack leader...

There have been a couple of lists for Hall of Fame slights lately. I will not rank my list, but here are my top 10 who should be in and aren't yet.

Bob Hayes
Derrick Thomas
Cris Carter
Chuck Howley
Bob Kuechenberg
Randy Gradishar
Cliff Harris
Tommy Nobis
Russ Grimm
Jerry Kramer

Pro Bowls
Dean 4
Martin 4

Rings
Dean 2
Martin 1
(but Dean only played 5 games the year he got his 2nd ring)

DPOY
Dean 0
Martin 1

SBMVP
Dean 0
Martin 1

All-Decade Teams
Dean 0
Martin 1

It's basically a wash, except that Dean was never DPOY, or SBMVP, and did not make the All-Decade team.

What team do you think Deion Sanders represents when entering the HOF

I added one to your list........yeah I cannot believe that Tommy Nobis isn't in the Hall.

How long do you think it will take for Darren Woodson to get in? From that link it looks like it could be awhile.

I'm not completely sold on either Cortez Kennedy or Neil Smith as HOFers. Yea, they were very good, but as has been said many times, it's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of the Very Good.

23 or is it 24?

Tommy Nobis has two big problems getting into the Hall: he played for Atlanta when they really sucked, and he played in the same era as Butkus, Nietske and Lanier. He should be in.

Is Jerome Bettis really a hall-of-famer?? It just seems like there are so many glaring omissions from the Hall of Fame that someone who IMO was painfully average should have to wait a while.

I mean he averaged about 8 TDs per season, and he was strictly a goalline back later in his career.

He has like 13,000 yds rushing. He has a SB ring. He was the best power runner of the last decade.

I would like to see Drew Pearson get in - he deserves it. I can't believe Swann got in before Drew. Drew has him beat in almost all the categories except the Super Bowl categories.

Receptions: (Swann - 336; Pearson - 489)
Receiving Yards: (Swann - 5,462; Pearson - 7,822)
Touchdowns: (Swann - 51 ; Pearson - 48)
Pro Bowl selection: (Swann - 3; Pearson - 3)
First-team All-Pro selection: (Swann - 2; Pearson - 3)
Super Bowl Appearances: (Swann - 4; Pearson - 3)
Super Bowl Victories: (Swann - 4; Pearson - 1)
Super Bowl MVP: (Swann - 1; Pearson - 0)
