Next fullback: Jason Peters?

As a college TE he had more pancake blocks than receptions...seriously.

Yeah, he was never going to be a tight end in the pros. Doesn't mean he couldn't catch, though. I'm sure those skills are rusty or gone now. I don't know how it would work out, but I'd certainly give it a try in practice.
 
Well there is common sense and then there is that comment about Peters as a FB.

There's thinking outside of the box and there's making snarky comments rather than making any kind of real contribution to a thread.
 
Well, he's really only got to run forward into whatever section of line we're running at. It isn't all that much different than going to the second level to pick up a linebacker as a lineman.
He's struggled at the 2nd level.
Thats the issue. He is good for 2 steps and holding his ground.
He's an LT by trade not a pulling guard.

It'd be a really wild use of what he has left as an athlete.
Now as a big goalline TE on the LOS? Perhaps.
But his skillset is quick step, block, Not go find people to block.
