Really cool pictures. My son plays in 10-11 also, and he plays for the Long Horns. I had no problem in coming up with burnt orange gear to wear to his games . I always thought nothing in sports would excite me more than watching the Dallas Cowboys, but Long Horn football has it beat.

So we finished our regular season in 3rd place, with close losses to the Commanders and Saints.

In the Playoffs, we faced off against the Giants in the quarter finals and beat them 21-0... not allowing a single first down in the game.

That set up an epic rematch against the .... Commanders!

The Commanders coach is the commissioner of the league, he's won championships in three straight years, only lost 2 games in the last 3 years... one of my biggest coaching goals is to beat him someday.

Long story short, the boys played awesome and with some new wrinkles in place, we CRUSHED the Commanders 34-13 to secure a place in the Finals this weekend against the Saints!

Cowboys are 2011 CLYFL Champions!

It was an amazing game. The Saints took a 7-0 lead in the first half, but my boys kept fighting and tied it up before halftime and then totally dominated the second half.

The Saints only gave up 49 points during the 10 game regular season and we scored 28 on them in one game.

Thanks guys... it's great sharing this with others who can appreciate Cowboys' Championships!

Here's a couple highlights my son had. On the Saints' first drive, they had moved down to the 10, and they tried a pass (the TE was open in the end zone as well) but my son, coming off the right end, Demarcus Ware'd the guy and popped the ball loose!

Then in this one he make the block on the Saints' best LF that gets our RB to the edge and into the end zone for what ended up being the game winning TD.

Had our end of year party today... we had a tailgate party at my house, watching the Cowboys/Commanders game.

Two families were rooting for the Cowboys, saying that they had decided to become Cowboys fans after our season!

Two or three other kids decided to root for the Cowboys during the game...

And the best part was my assistant coach (a huge Commanders fan) his son, after the game, put on my son's Dez Bryant jersey and declared that he's a Cowboys fan now!!!
