My thoughts exactly! Just another puffing article to get the Dak bots excited and drink the Kool aid. At this point in Daks career talk is cheap, stats mean nothing, we just want to see you trading touchdowns with Mahomes in the SB like Hurts did.

Dak faced Mahomes and managed 3 Field goals.
Jeez, man can't you acknowledge greatness when it's on the field???? :muttley:

You know these Dak bots are complaining about Hurts having the best supporting cast but I seem to remember a win and your in game against the Eagles where Dak had a full strength roster and Wentz had WRs that were off the street and Dak managed to lead the team to 10 points while the defense fought tooth and nail and held Wentz to 13. So apparently talent level doesn't always mean Dak knows how to use it.

Please do now explain what the Kansas City average scores per game were, and how much lower it was challenged more strategicly? Then please do allow us to witness the genius and tell us all what the average score was for Prescott and the Cowboys over the same time. Plus show how the current defensive team has a strong enough group to even challenge this current Kansas City team and win.

But this must await until they actually play each other and Kansas City is in the AFC. Darned, I guess I'll just have to await until the 'brilliance' can shine through now...(coughing loudly)

Well, did you get the melon ball? Just go ahead and poach them...

Ever serve in the Service? I forget, if the slugs had brains, they would take them out and play with them...can't wait until Camp. Dak and Cooks are completing a 60 yard pass against pretty good secondary players...nevermind.

You sure??? Where'd you get that from?
Dak Prescott had a turnover-prone season, even though the Dallas Cowboys showed how explosive the offense is when he's at quarterback. The Cowboys have averaged 32.5 points per game since Prescott returned to the starting lineup in Week 7, yet Prescott has turned the ball over more than any quarterback in the league.
Prescott tied Davis Mills for the league lead in interceptions with 15, making some history in the process. Prescott is the first quarterback to lead (or co-lead) the league in interceptions despite missing five-plus games. Norm Snead (1973), Jake Plummer (1999), and Carson Wentz (2020) previously head the dubious mark -- missing four games while leading the league in interceptions.

"We've got the right guys in this locker room [that] understand nobody played their best ball, simple as that," Prescott said, via the Cowboys website. "It starts with myself — being accountable for what you put out there, what you did. From that it's about understanding that's not who we are and then moving on and knowing what we've got ahead of us: one play at a time, one game at a time."

Prescott had 14 interceptions in his last 11 games, which easily was the league lead. His 17 giveaways is another cause for concern, despite how explosive the Cowboys offense has been.

5-7 games with injury and getting back in flow again. Offensive line injuries changing the offensive every two to three weeks. A weak receiver group and a running back stack of questions. C'mon, know your real enemy.

That was meant as a friendly ribbing between me & @MountaineerCowboy.
You seriously think that ANYBODY who checks out CowboysZone wasn't aware of Dak's problem with turnovers last season?

Stats are for guys that dont understand football and cant figure out who the good players are regardless of wins and losses. Its not fool proof, but if you follow them enough even a fool can understand.

Yet you love throwing out the stat showing how he lead the league in picks. Maybe its just the stats that dont suit your agenda you dont like?

And just an FYI...................wins and losses are a stat. Enjoy your stats.

Dak has been throwing good deep balls for years now. Anyone still thinking deep balls were a knock on Dak just hasn't been awake for years.
One of the bigger handicaps Dak had to overcome was Moore not sending Pollard deep more often. Fastest guy on the offense once Cooper left, and we only sent him deep once, and for a 60+ yard td. I dunno, maybe try that more than once in his rookie contract?
Also hard to throw deep as well when the defense is stacking the passing lanes with a 2 deep zone because your lead running back sucks. Or your Oline has injuries and is having trouble blocking long enough. Or you just dont have enough guys that can get open deep. Now combine that with playing the #1 defense in the NFL on the road and you can see the problem.

Now your just lying because I have never commented about Prescott throwing a league leading amount of interceptions.
