I love the enthusiasm... but man, Seattle is damn near invincible up in that ugly *** stadium.

I will say this: I do think it is possible, although unlikely, but if we do... look out! Dallas is going to do some damage.

If we win against the Texans and lose in Seattle, all it means is that Dallas is a good team, not a great team.

Don't let a loss in Seattle make you lose sight of just how good Dallas is becoming.

each game is different.
neither team is so bad to be next to impossible to lose to: see rams
or so good you can't beat them regardless: see chargers mollywhopping of seattle.

dallas v houston is a true toss up. great dl versus great ol.
we should have an advantage overall due to romo over ftiz but it is a close match up.
prolly give us the win via bailey's 80th straight make.

v seattle we should be underdogs because sea has been great at home for years and has a CB (i think) that can handle Dez without bracket coverage.
BUT dallas has the OL and RB group to implement the SD gameplan.
it is just a matter of execution on the road in that loud stadium.
i think most give the edge to sea here but in a good overall football game.
imho their defense makes one big play to get the W

1-1 is much much more likely than any of the other scenarios...

0-2 is the next most likely outcome

1-1 50%
0-2 28%
2-0 20%
0-1-1 0.75%
1-0-1 0.75%
0-0-2 0.5%

And I'm being optimistic coming from the big win and all...

I would be ok with 1-1 the next 2 games. I think we will know what we are looking at and how good this team is with the following 3 games against the giants, skins and cards. All at home but 2 bitter rivalries/divisional opponents and the cards that are shaping up to be a pretty good team with a good D to boot.

I predict we lose against Houston and beat Seattle.

NFL is crazy.

I wouldn't make that bet. I think we beat up on Houston, but take a tumble back to earth against Seattle. 4-2 would be amazing !!!

No, they're not.

3-3 and things are still there for the taking. Not the way I want to go about it but the next two are NOT "must win" and are not "all or nothing".

3-3 and everything you did in the past 3 weeks means almost nothing. It also means you are stuck in the same average/.500/mediocre cycle and as a fan I'm beyond tired of that. And no things are not there for the taking with that record. The goal is to win the division and to set yourself up for later in the year where you have some cushion and margin for error and at 3-3 that is gone.

Like the emphasis on " becoming". The Seattle game, win or lose will tell us a lot about that.

just a gut feeling my friend. my head says we go 1-1 but I just think if we can control the line of scrimmage on offense and limit their run game on defense with mcclain and spencer back, we're going to have a chance. in years past people used to always say

"something feels different about this team" and I'd just  about it. i truly believe it this year. this team has way more guts and seems to have more chemistry than the team that went to seattle a few years ago. you need both if you're going to go in there and beat that team and the 12th man.

I love you Zordon but I think you are drinking the kool aid a little too soon. We beat TN, STL, and the Saints. None of those teams are good this year. Anyway, I hope you're right and I'm wrong but I'm not going all in until I see us beat some good teams.

No, no it doesn't. 3-3 means there are 10 games to go. The season is not decided by any means.

Whether we like it or not, there are more in season growing pains coming.

The only thing that matters is how you finish!

So I'm assuming you had the Cowboys beating the Saints?

No, I thought we would lose that game but at the same time the win wasn't a shocker because the Saints had been playing bad.

I think absolutely destroying the Saints opened up eyes. That's just me though.

It means we're headed to average-ville AGAIN. Of course there are 10 games to go. 10 very difficult games where you have to win 6 and most likely 7 of them to win the division or get in the playoffs. Highly unlikely. Take care of business now to make it a little easier later. That's what the good teams do.

it did but the question is how good are the Saints in 2014? The only team they beat was the Vikings 20-9. They lost to the Browns and the Falcons. It appears they are in for a long season. Now, if we show up against Seattle, then we have something to be real excited about. We will beat Houston easily.

4-2 over the span and sitting at 7-3...alone atop the NFC East ;)

I'm starting to lean toward the Texans just because of the usual follow a big game with a bad one trend we've seen around here too many times.

Lose this one and you're staring 3-3 right in the face and not much of a difference than any other year in recent memory.

Edit - Go Cowboys.
