I think we're the better team Sunday, and we're playing at home; the next week, we're the weaker team, and playing on the road. I definitely anticipate a 1-1 split, but I've been wrong plenty so far this season...

I'm starting to lean toward the Texans just because of the usual follow a big game with a bad one trend we've seen around here too many times.

Lose this one and you're staring 3-3 right in the face and not much of a difference than any other year in recent memory.

Edit - Go Cowboys.

This is a trend? If you said 'beat a bad team, lose to a good one,' I'd agree that was a trend we've seen. I don't see us dropping too many games after big games just 'because.'

Now, the Texans might well qualify as a good team based on their record. I have a hard time seeing it, though. This is a game we should win at home if we just don't turn the ball over.

And, yes, Go Cowboys.

People are crazy to be expecting a win on the road in SEA, honestly. Not that we *can't* win that game, but the overwhelming likelihood is that we lose up there.

It means we're headed to average-ville AGAIN. Of course there are 10 games to go. 10 very difficult games where you have to win 6 and most likely 7 of them to win the division or get in the playoffs. Highly unlikely. Take care of business now to make it a little easier later. That's what the good teams do.

We know that with the Cowboys of the last 10 years or so... there is no taking care of business and easy go of it.

It is going to take a mistake filled year, a tough season ending finish, getting hot towards end of season and being battle tested on the road.
There is no "make it a little easier later" - that wont work for this group. They need to be backs against the wall in order for us to have any chance.

I have this gut feeling that we are either going 2-0 or 0-2 in these next 2 games.

If we handle our business against Houston, I think we beat Seattle. However, if we lose to Houston, I think we lose to Seattle as well.

I don't feel like there's going to be any inbetween.

Anyone else having this feeling?

I think we beat Houston but I don't think we're going to Seattle and beating them.

Frankly, I'm still hesitant to place a ton of trust in this team. Part of me is still waiting for the wheels to come off.

Regardless, I don't think Houston is getting enough respect around here. Heading into 2013 they were a fashionable pick to represent the AFC in the Superbowl, largely because of a roster that was littered with talent. They obviously let down expectations. But enough of the talent is still there that I'm not prepared to view their 3-1 record as a mirage. And I'm hesitant to think that our guys, who have their own history of disappointing expectations, should be seen as favourites heading into this game. I could easily see it going either way.

Yes there is. If you win these games now. Games you should win and pile up as many as you can before December making the playoffs won't be as difficult. Being 3-3 and trying to make that up in December is not as easier.

Houston - W
Seattle - L
Giants - W
Commanders - W

Jaguars - W

4-2 over the span and sitting at 7-3...alone atop the NFC East ;)

I think we beat Arizona, word is Carson Palmer is going to be out a while with nerve damage in his shoulder...........................we are not losing at home to the backup, they would have lost to the Giants if not for a punt return.

I may be a bit conservative in my prediction of 4-2...If we do go 5-1 or 4-2, either one will get the Cowboys sole possession of the division lead and should put them in solid control of their playoff destiny...

They need to build a cushion because the second half of the schedule gets hard, especially with 3 of the last 4 on the road.
