As a Cowboys fan under Jerry Jones I've learned not to expect much after the regular season is over.
That being said, I would say a successful season would be to make the playoffs and knock out the eagles in playoffs.
That's about it.
Any super bowl talk imo won't happen until Jerry Jones is gone from this team.

WE aren't even at the halfway point. Right now it's all about stacking enough wins to be relevant in December/January.
