Dak will be reason why the cowboys don’t at least make it to the super bowl imho
....then can we at least treat him similarly like the BFFs. It would be the same result.

The Dan Quinn experience has been fun. Hated and roasted when he was hired. Written off as leaving since he’s been here.

Lots of football left to play.

truth, but the schedule get easier by all accounts. The Boys got through the meat o& the schedule and went 4-2 setting themselves up to control their destiny with 3 division games left to sweep. Packers were supposed to be the only remaining game of high difficulty.

if they can’t go 8-2 or 7-3 in the last 10 games it will give them no chance of beating the top AFC teams in a SB……but they may eke out a Championship game appearance in an NFC that presently has the Bucs and Packers playing bad ball.

Dak is 1-3 in the playoffs and Romo was 2-4………not seeing a ton of difference in the postseason

didnt you predict 8-9 before the season started?
I think so. I had doubts about the defense and receivers, but the defense has proven me wrong big time. I'm not sure why that matters, you were calling the season over when Tyron Smith went down.

It's pretty unlikely we miss the playoffs just based on our schedule. We have the second easiest remaining schedule in the league and have a two game lead already in the wild card hunt. A team that is currently 3-4 or worse will have to overtake us and do so with a tougher schedule. We'd have to go somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-6 the rest of the way to realistically miss the playoffs, and its impossible to find 6 losses on our schedule without just being over the top negative.

Chicago
Houston
Indy
Jacksonville
Washington

We'd have to lose one of those games plus EVERY other game to finish with less than 10 wins
Damn, when you put it that way I like our chances of making the playoffs. All we gotta do is make it in. Winning the division would be nice, but it would be tough.

I wish I could throw hands with you

He's not wrong. We haven't been there in 30 years and yet you are throwing out demands and expectations. Kind of silly. I think at this point we just wait to see what they can prove and not expect anything.

Also stop trying to be an internet tough guy it makes you look foolish.

ha…..I was. Then again when Dak went down.

so why the harsh criticism? Offense needs continuity.

I still think the receivers need to prove themselves, but if they keep up this play than our offense will be our downfall. I understand continuity for certain players, but Lamb, Gallup, Dak, Zeke, Schultz have played in Moores offense before, it's not new to them. So honest question, if this offense is still performing this way in the Thanksgiving game, would that not be a cause for concern?

We’re going to have to get a lot better offensively to even sniff an NFC title game. Our defense is continuing to carry us.

The nfc offenses are bad all over. To beat the afc in the superbowl they need a better offense for sure, but not to make the nfc game.

True but Gallup no TC with dak, Dak out for weeks, Shultz a little banged up.

but yah if we’re struggling after another 2 or 3 games it’s a concern.

but I don’t think expectations should be how they used to be.

None of us know the teams that are playing well enough to know anything about this year’s playoff. Here are a few historical reminders:
  • In 2021, last years champs the rams were 7-4 after 11 games and lost 3 games in row in late October to early Nov. They did not look like champs then.
  • Last year’s AFC Champs the bengals were 7-6 on Dec 12 last year. No one…I mean no one could have sanely predicted they were headed to a SB.
  • In 2020, eventual SB champ TB was 7-5 before it went on a run to win it all. Brady looked old and the offense up and down. 9 weeks later they were champs.
  • In 2019, the chiefs were 6-4 on Nov. 10 and not playing well. Then they got hot and went on a tear.
I could go on and on…None of us know what lies ahead. Who will get hot and will make a conference championship? We don’t know yet.

The Cowboys haven’t been to an NFC title game in 27 years and they’re certainly not going to reach one with this offense and the issues we’ve had against the run. We started to generate more offense in the second half hopefully we continue to improve. The Cowboys are very fortunate they were playing a bad football team today. The takeaways and our defense won the game.

I'm afraid NFC CG will be Philthy VS Whiners and I'll be sick to my stomach cheering for Buffalo in the SB.

As a Cowboys fan under Jerry Jones I've learned not to expect much after the regular season is over.
That being said, I would say a successful season would be to make the playoffs and knock out the eagles in playoffs.
That's about it.
Any super bowl talk imo won't happen until Jerry Jones is gone from this team.
Surprisingly the NFC East is being called the toughest division in the league right now. Look at the records of the teams in this league. NFC East that is. 14-3 is probably gonna win the division and that’s probably gonna be the Eagles unfortunately. And then to wildcard teams probably come out of this division. Gonna have to win 11-12 games to be assured a WC spot. Only way I see us ending up in an NFC championship game is if the Eagles start flopping and losing a lot of games really quick and we somehow win the division. We’re not going to the NFC championship on the road as a wildcard team. We just don’t have the fire power to do that.
